The Orbach Library is one of the two libraries on campus for students to use at their convenience. With three floors, countless places for seating, computer rentals, printing and various programs to attend during finals week, a lot is offered for any student coming into Orbach.
In terms of its location, this library is very close and convenient in distance for those who live on campus, whether Lothian, Glen Mor, or Pentland Hills. A walk down Big Springs Rd. and you're basically there.
However, it is all not up to par, with the third floor being a very loud place anytime throughout the year. During finals (at least when they were administered in person), students would pack themselves in and make a lot of chitter chatter with their friends, causing a major distraction for students who want to come in here and study. Once this library opens I really hope the administration can make an effort to make this problem not come back up prior to the COVD-19 lockdown and closures.
