Love that it's an actual Starbucks store, but some of the Starbucks people can not make the order correctly. I ordered a matcha green tea latte with no foam and substitute for soy milk. I had an issue with my order last week and the barista there was nice enough to remake it for me. When I went in today, I'm madly disappointed with the barista making my drink. When I got the order, I would always if there's foam or not. I'm okay if there's a little foam, but if there's like an inch of foam, no thanks. I asked the barista to remake my drink. He was like, "oh we need to steam it so there will be foam." I told him that I've seen other baristas at this location use a spoon to get rid of the foam. Well at least the other baristas have common sense unlike the barista working at 9 making drinks. Right now I want to clap back at him that NO FOAM is an option in the Starbucks app for the exact same drink. When remaking my drink, I can tell that he was lazy to make my drink properly. There was barely any soy milk left based on that empty looking carton and I think that he put some 2% milk in it. Also I think that he reduced the amount of matcha scoops in my drink. I'll be extremely disappointed if this is the first Starbucks location he works at. I personally do not believe that first time employees should work at a college location because it is always busy. Other than my messed up and disappointed order, they are always out of blueberry scones every few days. I love the blueberry scones because it reminds me of home. Pictures...
Read moreIf I could pay money to giving this place negative stars and to shut this place down, I would happily do so. The 5 star reviews on here are definitely FAKE reviews and should receive Google's attention. A couple other people and I will bring these ratings Google's attention and let them scrutinize the fake five star reviews.
After I ordered my drink, a simple green tea, I waited for 20 minutes as others got served before me. I noticed at least four people getting their drinks receive a "sorry for the wait" from the baristas. I got a barista's attention and she apologized to me and told me they will get my drink out ASAP. 20 minutes later, NOTHING. They forgot again, until I talked to another barista who then took the initiative to get my drink made. She was probably the only competent employee in that Starbucks and deserves a promotion. Everybody else was confused, bumbling, and looked either very inexperienced or had some sort of mental deficiency.
Also there were no napkins in stock. The place was way overcrowded, with nowhere left to sit, and standing around felt like being in Tokyo's subway system during rush hour.
TLDR Poor customer service, poor management, incompetent employees (except for one), and...
Read moreOverall great place. The service is always quick, polite and friendly and the drinks? Well you all know what Starbucks is. Today I had quite a strange experience tho. I asked for hot green tea with honey. And the barista(I've never seen this guy before) had me repeat my order like.. 3 times? I know I have accent, but it never happened to me before. Anyway I paid for the order and quickly forgot about it. Until like a minute later another guy asked me what did I order. Like I've already paid for the order and you don't know what I ordered. Why accept payment then? I repeated the order that was still "hot green tea with honey" he told me it wasn't on the menu, although I had been ordering it for the last 2 weeks with no issues. I ended up giving up cause I didn't want to come out as rude and my social anxiety started making me feel uncomfortable and just told "give me any hot tea you have" and ended up drinking black tea with no honey. It's not the end of the world, but it made me feel I was speaking chinese the entire time and i felt insecure about my English first...
