The Warp Pipe | Retro games & Consoles — Local services in Roanoke

Literally just got back from visiting The Warp Pipe about 30 min ago. I discovered the Google page and gave a call shortly after work. I got to meet Josh and he was very very kind. He's just looking to have a shop of his own for something he's always loved especially while serving in the Army, which I totally respect. The place is a work in progress as they figure things out, but I see a lot of potential. Right now by appointment until they get things fully ready for an opening. He already has some very neat finds, was cool to see some of his own collection of stuff he had especially for Pokemon and Zelda. He will definitely work with you on a price and coming from a place of fairness. Picked up a copy of Castlevania for the DS and some pokemon cards myself that I was wanting. His partner Amanda was very sweet as well and helps him out during the day too. I will definitely be keeping in touch/ plan to stop by again with my husband. Always nice to support a small business so definitely give him some love as he gets started. I stopped by The Warp Pipe with my wife and picked up a GameCube/some games. I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The owner, Josh, is one of the kindest and most generous people you’ll ever meet. The pricing was more than fair, and you can tell he really cares about both his customers and the gaming community. I am so glad I stopped by The Warp pipe, there is a really good selection of games at this location. Got to meet the owner and I love how passionate he is about video games.

Hands -down, I’m super excited for what this Store is going to look like in the future. I picked up all these Nintendo nostalgic games that I played as a kid and now I’m collecting them to give to my child.
