It was our first time visiting Timothy's. We were amazed walking through all of the beautiful flowers, bushes and plants. We went to find a Butterfly Bush and Lantana....we were greeted by Marie who was extremely helpful and such a pleasure to chat with. She definitely knows her flowers and directed us to the area where the Butterfly Bushes were kept. We wanted to purchase one of the BIG ones however we only had the sports car with us...Marie did inform us that we could always pay for the Butterfly Bush and pick it up at a later date with our bigger vehicle. This was good information that Marie shared with us. We decided at that time to go with a smaller Butterfly Bush and come back at another time for a bigger one. We had a very pleasant experience while shopping at Timothy's and will most definitely be returning customers....we were very happy to also find out that the plants they sell are grown on sight and not shipped in from another company...its always nice to support our local businesses.

Arrived at 10:15 today (Saturday) to select and order 3000 sqf Techo-Block for my patio. Store was empty and it was raining out. Few employees roaming, but not a single one approached or said hello. After a half hour, we had picked the stone we wanted. A male employee comes walking over at 10:45 am, makes eye contact and then walks right past me, and approached the senior citizen who just arrived, and was looking at grills- with a big “Welcome, how can I help?” I looked at the wife and made the decision we were done. Customer service failure- never asked “who was here first” or cared to even acknowledge me. At $11 a sqf, plus the walls, caps, and G2, it was a $42,000 to $45,000 sale.

Hope the judgement call to ignore the young guy in a sweatshirt and jeans with his wife and kid waiting a half hour for the older guy who just walked in looking to buy a BBQ grill (which he left without buying) was worth it. Dress in you Sunday best before you go or you will be ignored and overlooked

Timothy's Center for Gardening is a local hub for the gardening blue bloods. There are adequate supplies of all the popular plants in season, including veggies and herbs. Their hardscape and garden accessories are many and varied. Worth a look if you want something to add bling to your green.

This is also one of the few garden businesses in this end of the state that will let you order landscaping stones, mulch, and dirt by the ton or cubic yard ONLINE. Most places make you call it in, which in my experience is annoying and never as accurate. For the Hamilton/Robbinsville residents, there is FREE delivery over 8 tons, or 8 cubic yards. To be sure, check the link on delivery. There is also a code for that free delivery, so read carefully.

I have used this delivery service for years and its shining hallmark is the driver of the delivery truck. That man can work miracles in my tight spaces to get my delivery where I need it in my yard. He is the only reason I keep ordering from this firm which has raised its prices a little too aggressively...
