Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers — Local services in Robertsdale

I pulled into Express on 2/22. When Don (I think that was his name) came to ask what I needed, I explained an oil change but also asked them to disconnect my battery. I have a 2023 Tucson, which has a known issue with the system and all sounds. The dealership couldn’t get me in for two weeks. Disconnecting the battery is a temp fix. Gary and Stone both came over for me to explain, just to make sure they knew what I was asking them to do. I had my grandchildren in the car, who were getting a little impatient, so we tried to make up a story, to include my grandson, where everyone goes around and adds a piece to the story…The whole garage got involved, when my grand would not play along, I heard one of your guys say “hey, now I need to know how this story ends” 😂

A moment later Stone explained they didn’t have my oil filter, this is a common issue with my car but it didn’t take long for them to run next door and grab one. I only trust Express because, when I first got my car, they refuse to mess with my drain plug and explained to me in detail on why and instead use that machine to suck out the oil.

If I could leave Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers a 10 STAR, I would. My mom alternator went out on her car, and we went to O'Reilly Auto Parts to buy the alternator to save a lil money, and then we took it to John at Express Oil Change put it on, he said the alternator was a bad and the voltage on it was 11. So, I told John to go ahead and put an alternator from their company and he did. John, Brandon, and Marcus were awesome, kind, honest, and upfront with me and my mom. John said I put the alternator in the car for you to take it back to O'Reilly. When I tried to return it, the manger at O'Reilly refused to issue me a full refund when they sold me a bad alternator:( I stood there and argue with them for 5 minutes. I called Marcus with Express and told him what was going on and he couldn't believe that they didn't want to give me a refund. He talked to the manager of O'Reilly for me, Then this manager at O'Reilly got soo upset with me for no reason and turned to the cashier and said "give her a refund" and walked off talking mean. I just want to thank God and the manager and workers at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers for taking care of me and my mom. I have been going to this particular shop for at least 5 years an 5 automobiles. There oil change service is fast, reliable and the mechanics are courteous and friendly. I recently bought a used car, the air compressor went out and researched approximate cost to replace. When I talked to John the senior mechanic that was pretty much his estimate,.. However, before jumping straight in with the replacement, he checked all the other factors that might have caused my AC to quit working. It was the compressor and I left it with him to fix. Although the repair was fairly expensive as expected, my final bill was about $350 less than the initial estimate. I have had other work done on other cars and feel like I have gotten a square deal on each and every one. zFurthermore, I have never had to return because the job was not done properly.
