Basket of Pittsburgh — Local services in Robinson Township

We are completely disappointed in the level of service that we received for an order that was placed for Christmas. We place an order for deliver prior to Christmas - the order was guaranteed to be delivered on December 23. We never received tracking information for the order and reached out to them on December 21. We did receive an immediate response noting that they were unable to log into their system remotely and since it was after hours would get a response to us the next day. CRICKETS - never heard a peep. Reached out again via text on December 24 - CRICKETS! Never heard a peep….

Well, on December 26 we received notice that the order shipped…. Glad they had our money for a week given the credit card was charged when the order was placed; however our gift never arrived to the recipient until after Christmas, and there was zero communication that there was a delay.

We at normally not ones to complain publicly about a small business; however do expect communication. Had they reached out to let us know there was an issue, we would have fully understood and been more than happy to explain the situation to the recipient. BUT with no communication we had no idea if the gift was on the way - if it was late - if it would never arrive and we were scammed out of $200. Communication is key!

Will never place another order or recommend A Basket...

I received an amazing surprise from Basket of Pittsburg today. UPS shows up at my door with a package that was not mine so I immediately reached out to the company. They were currently closed but had an afterhours text line. I texted Basket of Pittsburg and had a response back within 3 minutes. I described my situation and gave the person I was texting with all the needed information. To my surprise the person I was texting told me to enjoy and they would work out the details of the order on Monday. I do have to say as a consumer and a random experience like this made me immediately go to their website and look at their product as well as the product I received. Basket of Pittsburgh has amazing products! The product I received was expertly packaged and top notch. I have sent gift baskets before, but the quality of what I received was exceptional. And not to mention the customer service. Anyone looking for a Thank You Basket, Graduation Gift, Get Well Basket, Birthday Basket.........and so on, will not be disappointed in this companies product, friendliness, product packaging and overall quality product. I reached out to Basket of Pittsburgh to help me with arranging wedding favors. I, and most of my guests, traveled from the West Coast for my wedding at Phipps. I wanted Pittsburgh themed goodies that could mostly be consumed the week we were in town, to avoid having to pack a lot home with us. I ordered 7 baskets initially; 4 Heinz Hampers, 2 Strictly Pittsburgh, and one mix of sweet treats & Heinz Hamper. My larger order was easily accommodated; 9ne item was unavailable, and the substitute was offered. The substitute actually was a higher quality item, and still fit perfectly with the theme. Pick up was super easy. My guests loved them; it got them excited to explore and learn about Pittsburgh.

When we got home, I ordered an additional basket for our pet sitter. Shipping to Washington State was smooth, and she loved it.

Wish I was closer to use Basket of Pittsburgh for all occasions. Everyone was wonderful to deal with!...
