Woofles Premier Pet Resort — Local services in Robinson Township

When I dropped my 5 pound (5 year old) HEALTHY yorkie off at the resort so I could go on vacation with my family in June 2021, I gave them specific instructions with regards to how often she needed fed, the types of food to feed her (all packed in her bag and labeled) and told them that in addition to the food I labeled for her…that she was not to be outside for long periods of time because she was so small. They said it was no problem and were very happy to have her.

When I picked her up upon coming back from vacation, they bought her to me. She was physically very hot to the touch from being outside for so long and wet. When I asked why she was wet, they said she was playing in the fountain outside (my dog hated water). Additionally, she was extremely lethargic and the soft food I had given them to feed her was STILL IN THE BAG. Apparently they offered her the other food I left for her, but the soft food that she loved…that helped make her more comfortable when I went away was never given to her.

I took her home to try and cool her off and get her rested and it was all downhill from there. That night, she began throwing up. She spent the next 3 days in and out of the vet being treated for dehydration and pancreatitis…that was caused by the heat exposure and changes in eating patterns because she wasn’t being fed according to the instructions I gave them. Over the 3 days, I spent close to $5k in vet fees, making sure they didn’t everything in their power to help her. I have asked Woofles for reimbursement and they never responded.

Benson continued to worsen despite the vets efforts and had to be put down on 7/2…as the inflammation from the pancreatitis had spread throughout her body and caused a lot of issues.

Just 48 hours prior to taking her to the pet resort, I had taken her to the vet for a checkup…where she received a clean bill of health. Never having missed so much as a vaccine or dental cleaning. How was it that my dog, checked into that resort being healthier than most humans…ended up leaving so sick that she died.

Devastation is an understatement as to how this has impacted my life. And despite my efforts trying to work with an attorney, and the humane police officer from the humane society…it seems I keep running into dead ends in terms of accountability because of contracts they have in place when you drop your pet off, limited camera footage to see what actually happened…and general lack of responsiveness from the pet resort.

I do not recommend this pet resort, by any means, for...

Our golden doodle has been going to Woofles for daycare, boarding and grooming since early 2021. The only problem we have had was our dog’s own fault and Beth and Woofles were understanding and accommodating (he chewed through the wall in one of the suites when boarding as a puppy, so we had to pay a reasonable fee to pay for the damage, and now he does the cage-free lodging which has prevented any further problems). He goes to daycare twice a week, boards a few times a year, and is groomed there as well. He loves all of his time at Woodles. I especially love getting daily photos when he is boarding and updates so we know he is happy and well cared for. He never shows any signs of stress after boarding there and has never become ill. After grooming he is always so soft and smells wonderful. We’ve had a great experience overall. We are thrilled to have Woofles nearby to provide so much fun, love and care for...

I genuinely can't say enough great things about Woofles! My 7-month-old black lab mix puppy, Cato, absolutely loves it. One of the highlights of my day is seeing pictures of Cato on Facebook while he’s at daycare. It genuinely makes me so happy to see him having a blast! The facility itself is always clean, which gives me peace of mind. What truly sets Woofles apart is the staff. They are incredibly kind and loving, and they understand that Cato is a playful puppy still learning the ropes of being a dog.
