I called ahead two days for a space. I said I was a Passport America customer. They said they had space. I drove down. Started setting up. Once the owner came to check me in I was told they would not honor the Passport America price in the Winter. Apparently it is a footnote on the listing ... however, they could have said something on the phone. I would think that a discrepancy like this might cause them to bend the rule for one night. Nope. They would rather have me leave and never patronize them again than to lose twelve bucks. Just a warning, folks. If they showed this little regard to me over twelve bucks, how well do you think they will treat you...
Read moreI'm giving it a one star only because it is a quite place, if you come to visit then yes it's a great place to camp for a night or two, but if you come to live here it's not so good. Cold bathrooms in the winter because no heater, hot bathrooms in the summer because of no a/c. They clean the restrooms every two days and it's cleaned by teenagers which isn't cleaned correctly... They only mow in the area's where new campers come in more often than they do with those who live there. I wouldn't come back to this place since I know how it's ran here, be glad when we're gone in...
Read moreStayed here for over a month, and it's a delightful little campground. It feels very mom and pop esque(anyone stopping for a night, they don't take cards so come with cash). Very clean and mostly seems to be older folks. The bathrooms are small but I've never has to wait in line, never seen anyone else use them(most campers I see though have trailers big enough for their own bathroom).
