EDIT in response to owners reply- I think as far as the bathroom situation goes, you could possibly renovate the current bathroom into one with a couple toilet stalls and one more sink. As for a nursing area, maybe you could put a nursing pod/booth in the area with the tables or wherever something like that might fit within your business.
This place is a great addition to Rolla. There are a few things I wish could be changed such as separate play times for big kids and little kids. The last time I brought my toddler here there was a lot of bigger kids running around chaotically that were roughly playing with everything. The amount of kids should be limited as well, it is overwhelming the amount of children allowed in here all at once. Maybe you could consider special days or hours that are more sensory friendly and less overwhelming for people who would like to bring their kiddos here. I also feel that you definitely need more than one bathroom and the rocking chair/nursing area in the bathroom is unsanitary. It is a great play place otherwise and my daughters love the different toys and...
Read moreThere's only one bathroom that doubles as the nursing area. It's not really a child friendly bathroom either. It's one where you have to hold tight to your toddler otherwise they'll be getting into stuff (like the small, child-level trash can that was overflowing for most of our visit) while you're sitting on the toilet. I'm also still nursing my youngest and definitely do not feel comfortable 1)nursing in a bathroom or 2)holding up the bathroom line to do so. If it weren't the only place of its kind within two hours I'd go somewhere else just for better facilities. I also couldn't find a "mouthed toy" bin anywhere but not even around the toddler area, where it would be most useful. As it is, the play area is just fine and the kids enjoyed it, but as a parent who has been to a bunch of these places: it feels like they're trying to do a lot in a relatively small space, but missing the mark on the basics. Also it wouldn't be a bad idea to remind people on their way in that the toddler area is a "shoes off" space, since most of them...
Read moreWe had a bday party for a 5 y/o there. It was so disappointing and mind blowing that this place is open. It was dirty and has holes in walls, hole in ceiling hanging pieces with black duck tape lol, paint peeling on wall, vent away from wall, black mold all over vent & wall, 1 restroom, restroom sink wouln't drain, picnic table (very thin metal) leg is bent under and NOT safe, all around very dirty establishment etc.. And still charged full price when all of this was brought to the attention...
