US Nails Spa — Local services in Rome

I never pay someone to do my nails because I usually do them myself. My nail tech was super friendly. She asked what I wanted to do so I showed her the first picture (black with white and marble nail art) she said she could do. She added tips and one tip was obviously super crooked, she thought cutting it would fix it; we had to soak it off and put another one on. She proceeds with the acrylic service and the shaping wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best. My index finger looked more stiletto than sharp almond while the rest were almond. Then after she’s done with the acrylic she tells me she can’t do the marble design I want with matte top coat and I was just like ‘umm what?’ So I picked a different (second picture) with a few changes. I didn’t want the silver glitter thumb, I wanted it black and change the pinky to silver glitter. Then add the nail art to the other two nails. Well if you look at the third photo, that is what I left with. I was beyond frustrated and just wanted to pay and leave. I soaked them off myself when I got home and redid them myself (last photo) and obviously you can use a matte top coat over marble nail art.

NEVER AGAIN!! I took a chance on this place since I desperately needed my nails fixed before an event. I called ahead and made an appointment. When I arrived, I was barely acknowledged and (despite the appointment) had to wait 45 minutes. They were busy and appeared to be short handed, so I told myself to be patient. It most certainly was not worth the wait.

I got French SNS. It wasn’t the best set I’ve ever had, but it served its purpose. HOWEVER, just a few days after getting my nails done, a little green dot started to develop on the nail on my ring finger. When it was time to get a new set, I went to my normal nail place. Imagine my disgust when she took off the nail and told me a bacterial infection had developed!!! ((Keep in mind this started only a few days after receiving the “service,” so it wasn’t like I had worn them too long or anything similar to that.))

In addition to this, the tips of my real finger nails are now curled - this has never happened before. My go-to nail tech said it was likely due to the powder they used. It’s a cheap powder and it dried out my real nails. Cheap powder?! When I paid over $50?!

Horrible! Walked in they immediately sat me down to get a gel fill. My mother sat immediately for a pedicure. One hour later no one has approached me and my mother is done with her pedicure. Still no service for me - I’m completely ignored. Workers are in the back room - one left for a break. There are two ladies in waiting chairs and I’m sitting at a nail desk.....finally 90 minutes and I leave and they want to know why I won’t stay to get my nails done. Horrible. Unprofessional. I had a time frame in which to get a badly needed fill. Times up my nails aren’t done and they never said a word. Tell ppl! Give customers an estimated wait time. Do not Sit them at a desk to be ignored. I would have left long ago had my mother not got her pedicure. The funny part - she didn’t even want the pedicure.
