We especially love their frozen cod filets - yes, they are more expensive per pound than what you can get at other major chain stores, but once you've tried these from Portage Meats and Deli, you'll never want cod from any other place!! Well I will tell you it is a good place to go to get good stuff. The ground Hamburger is Ground daily very fresh. They have a lot of things that other stores don't... I love their ham salad. This is a great small meat market. Most times, I am able to get the cuts of meat I want. There were some supply problems for awhile and are glad to get in whatever you want if not available. Their ground beef is sold frozen in 1# packs or fresh ground. Lot of selections in their freezer, too....
