The worst experience at Cavenders I have ever had. I went to this location for the first time and it will most definitely be my last. So many young people without knowledge of anything, laughing and giggling with each other as customers are right in front of them. I purchased a new hat and asked to get it shaped. As the young gentleman and young lady attempted to shape my hat several times and not once getting it right, they then start mumbling to each other and showing that they are irritated. The young gentleman had the nerve to tell me that āoh this must be your first hat, you never wore a cowboy hat before huhā. I told him how Iāve been wearing my hats for years. My personal cowboy hat ,that I wore to the store, was in front of him on the display and he was told repeatedly this is how I wanted my hat shaped. Everything I told him to do when I would try it on he wouldnāt do. He continued to tell me that I am wearing my hat wrong and itās not supposed to be that way. He kept trying to fix the hat to the shape of his hat was and not my personal one I wore to match. The young lady walked away and left him to deal with me. After the young gentleman telling me over and over how wide my face is and how he fixed it is how I should wear it, I finally just grabbed the hat I purchased and left. I will be going back to my other cavenders location where there are more experienced people to get it fixed correctly. I purchased the hat and I should be able to get it shaped how I wanted it not how he feels like doing it. Now I left with a hat that got mis shaped and is not worth wearing. Now I have to go through the trouble of taking it elsewhere. The worst experience Iāve ever had after many years of shopping at Cavenders. Do not recommend this location to anyone. On top of all that, another young worker wouldn't talk to and kept telling another girl something because he thought I didnāt speak English. I couldnāt speak a bit of Spanish to save my life. The young woman even told him I spoke English and he barely wanted to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI walked the store for over 1hr and 40minutes not one service personnel came to check on me. I walked the menās clothing isle, the fitting room, the work wear area, the hat section, lastly in the boot section I found muck boots, two work hog boots. Each I had to search to find the other side of my boot on display. The other side is I only saw two other customers in the store, one was in the boot section and another woman with her children walking around. No other shoppers in sight. I spent 589.93 on boots for work. With the big Houston Rodeo coming to town and as much customers this will bring Iām highly disappointed. All your store staff were in a big bunch up front by the registers laughing and flirting, further more I was disappointed to see the female manager in with the whole crowd. I even gave them another chance to help by lingering in the belt section contemplating on a belt. They didnāt even help to place all three boxes on the counter for me when they seen me with three big boot boxes. This will be my last time coming to Cavenders at this location. Iād rather go to boot barn where they treat their customers better, or even drive further to a different Cavenders. Iām Highly disappointed in your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGood selection. However, I bought some boots here that were creasing at one ankle and painfully hitting my ankle bone. I didn't have time to get them stretched that day. After returning from out-of town, I went back to the store to get the ankle stretched. I had not worn the boots; the tags were still on, etc. When I got to the counter, the clerk started inspecting the boots and asked if they had been stretched. I told her no because I didn't have time the day I bought them. She kept inspecting them, and said "They feel like they've been stretched." Omg, if they were, why would they still hurt?! When I complained to the manager (yes, I became a Karen), she just smiled the entire time I was complaining. Ok, I get it, nobody wants to deal with a Karen. Too bad; it happens to all of us. As a consumer, I can take my business anywhere. And so can you if need be. WHEN YOU ARE SPENDING GOOD MONEY, DON'T ACCEPT STUPID CUSTOMER SERVICE. THERE ARE TOO MANY OTHER PLACES THAT WILL GLADLY AND PROFESSIONALLY ACCEPT...
