This is only for the in-house financing portion which I did. I was told that I can get a car with $1000 down in a low monthly payment which is not low at all. Let me be clear. I will say thank you to Andrea who did help the process, but at the end of the day, I do feel like Mitsubishi definitely preys on people who are in bad financial situations.
For starters, I have a 2022 outlander with a lot of inside and outside damage along with over 90,000 miles. And I pay $800 a month. There is cosmetic damage to the console, burn holes because the person smoked in it previously issues on the tires, and my right side view mirror is completely broken. When I went to adjust them and fell out and was not fixed. That is actually insanity but at the time it’s really all I could do and just because I can’t afford it doesn’t mean that I should be paying that.
I also was not told the payment price as well as anything about it until after I paid for the insurance which is $300 which I did on the way there. I also was not told the length of my terms until I paid for everything. Which causes an issue in my head because at this point it’s like I have to pay it. And if we do the math, I’m paying $30,000 on a car that really cost about 10k.
Not only that, but they do not offer any type of fixing any of the car so once I drove off in the car and it was a few days, I can’t go back To fix what ended up being them giving me a car with multiple broken features. I don’t know if this was knowingly or unknowingly, but she told me that it passed inspection so I would assume that they didn’t know about all the issues that I did have.
The plates themselves did arrive late and I am just now getting the text today and my temporary tags expired July 22. And they told me I could come to Mitsubishi Southwest to come get the car and I drove 50 minutes out in a thunderstorm to come get them I’m only to be told that I cannot get them there and I have to get them somewhere else. So I will say the communications status is also a fail when it comes to that sister company because when I asked about the place, I was told that when they come, I will be able to come and get them and that was from Southwest. They control your engine they clicked my vehicle due to the insurance which it was a honest mistake on my end so I will accept that but the fact no one reached out a curtesy call anything ! As soon as I got a text I went outside my vehicle wouldn’t start I contact insurance I got the insurance fixed ! I emailed them they said oh we can’t re-enable your vehicle due to the policy date on Sunday . I said ok I’ll get them to fix it they said oh the person leaves at 6 I sent the new policy at 6:05 . I said can she wait on me I have to pick up my daughter they said NO she doesn’t get paid overtime ! So here I am car note paid insurance valid and out of a car from Saturday to Sunday and even Monday I say ok y’all have everything and am I going to get a discount for my vehicle being inactive for almost 3 days missing out on work ETC ! She proceeds to tell me I still have to wait to get the vehicle on after viewing all documentation they have to verify remind you the insurance company itself emailed the documents !! So I said no problem are you going to sit me on hold ! She said no I said ok how long does it take because I’ve already missed work . She said I don’t know I said can you give me a estimated time frame she said she CANT ! I cannot believe they lock your engine not even for payment but for YOUR insurance which I have no problem paying . Read moreI bought my car from this dealership with only 5 miles on it. Have tried to get it serviced several times, it always some type of excuse. They only have 1 brake or they have the front set, everything always has to be ordered.I and was up there for almost 9hrs and they did not detail the car nor did they fill the tank up. I recently went back to have my battery replaced after it died 4 times in the span of 3 days and they made me sit for 3hrs claiming they couldn’t replace it. I ended up missing work because of this. It’s always excuses and a money grabs when I go up there. They are a bunch of tricky liars, scammers trying to get more money. My battery is still under warranty, the service guy told me that if he just ran a test only to replace it that his boss would fire him, because it would be like giving away $300 for free. I don’t understand how , when it’s covered by warranty. They we looking for a way to make extra money off me, they didn’t care about me being late for work after we made an appointment days before.Then when my mom called to speak with the general manager, he lied and pretended the guy was out to lunch, the chick that works back there in service with him is as crooked as he is, they all lie and play you for a fool.
