I’m only giving this place 3 stars because of the delivery cost. The piece I purchased was nice but when asked about the delivery, the owner gave me a name of her guy and stated she didn’t know the cost; “I stay out of that, she said.” Well “her guy” charged me $180 to deliver 1 item. That’s 25% of the price of the item and it wasn’t very big. I asked the delivery guy if I purchased another piece to go along with what he was about to deliver to me would he charge me more? He said yes. Welp….she missed out on a sale because the delivery charges are RIDICULOUS! Unfortunately, I will never purchased another item from this company and I really liked her pieces.

Reply: I gave your company 3 stars because of the delivery service. At the time you had 2 "Sources" for delivery and one of them was out of service so I was left with one to deal with. I didn't say there was anything wrong with your furniture. I'm merely speaking I wish you had other delivery options. Not everyone has a truck or know someone with a truck. So we rely on the the company we're purchasing the furniture from. Since you didn't know how much your "Source" charges.....I thought it was good for you and others to know how much he was charging. Read my initial review again, I said...."The piece I purchased was nice." I really wanted to purchased another piece but your "Source" delivery fees were excessive. The best experience!! I purchased the Harper king bed in honeysuckle, 2 Harper nightstands in honeysuckle and the Celeste console in blue haze for my bedroom sight unseen from Shabby Parlor. I live 10 hours away from the store and was worried about not seeing the furniture in person, I asked Brittany about a million questions and she happily answered them all for me. When I finally purchased everything, I had to have it shipped. I was so worried about if my pieces would be damaged during the journey. I had NOTHING to worry about!! My pieces were all packed so well, the warehouse team did a phenomenal job at taking great care that every piece was packaged securely. Shipping company was super easy to deal with, literally the smoothest delivery I have ever gotten of furniture. All of my furniture from Shabby Parlor is of amazing quality and solid wood, these will be passed on for generations. My daughters are already fighting over who gets them when I give them up! ;) Love the quality, the outstanding prices (even with shipping), the solid shipping experience, thorough communication from start to finish, the patience and no pressure answers from Brittany on my thousand questions and then she also sent a personal note too? The overall experience I had just can't be beat, I am a customer for life. I have been and will continue to rave about this store to anyone and everyone!! August 29, 2021 hurricane Ida destroyed our beautiful home. We lost absolutely EVERYTHING, but those things were just that, things! We had each other and that’s all that matters. Fast forward to today and we are FINALLY moving into a beautiful home and in need of all home furnishings. I came across The Shabby Parlor on Facebook and fell in love with a bunch of their pieces and prices. I messaged them on Tuesday January 30th, 2024 about some possible pieces. They were very quick to respond and helped me narrow down what I was looking for. I was a bit nervous about ordering with them because 1. I live in Houma, La and they are based in Texas, and 2. One of the pieces I was ordering has glass doors. They reassured me that they ship all over and package their pieces very well. I ended up placing my order on Tuesday January 30th. They messaged me on Thursday February 1st saying they were able to get my pieces packaged and shipped! Y’all!!! I can’t believe, but we received our pieces today, February 5th!!!!! They came in unbelievable time and wrapped to perfection! Pictures on site don’t do the furniture full justice. The pieces we received are stunning! Can’t thank The Shabby...
