I can’t say enough great things about the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds! This venue truly offers something for everyone, making it a fantastic destination for families, friends, and anyone looking to enjoy a classic county fair experience. The fairgrounds are impressively spacious, allowing thousands of visitors to enjoy the festivities without feeling crowded. There are plenty of rides for all ages, from gentle kiddie rides and a merry-go-round to more thrilling options like the drop tower and spinning rides that kept us entertained all day. The variety ensures that both kids and adults can find something to enjoy, and the walk-through fun house and giant fun slide were particular highlights for our group. Food options are abundant, with classic fair favorites like funnel cakes, jumbo turkey legs, and delicious burgers from local vendors. We especially appreciated the locally sponsored food stands near the exhibit halls, which offered a true taste of Fort Bend County. The exhibit halls themselves were filled with impressive displays of local art, crafts, and vendor booths, showcasing the community’s talent and creativity. One of the best parts of our visit was the rodeo—an exciting, competitive event that had us on the edge of our seats with bull riding, barrel racing, and more. The fair also features live music, a petting zoo for the little ones, and a lively carnival atmosphere that makes every visit memorable. Safety and comfort are clearly priorities here, with attentive staff and well-maintained facilities. We also appreciated the ample seating areas and shaded spots to relax between activities. Overall, the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds is a top-notch venue that delivers fun, excitement, and a welcoming community spirit. Extremely clean facilities, social distancing is a must, and mask wearing and temp checks as well. There is plenty, plenty of parking, and last but not least, you MUST have an appointment or else you will be turned around! Make sure that you have all of your personal documents for verification at the door.

Fantastic facility for all large events and venues. We came during the carnival in Fort Bend County fair which was a great event for kids and adults alike. We had a lot of fun there were a lot of rides and games and animals to see and different things to learn about. The weather wasn’t very good while we were there but the grounds were kept neat and clean and dry enough to be able to walk around. We came late at night during a very busy concert time as well with a lot of Pat people in there were still plenty of room to move around and walk through the different places and see many different things.
