Husband and sales rep were texting each other Friday afternoon about a vehicle that was on the lot. My husband said we live about an hour away but we are interested in the vehicle, we just need to test drive it first. He was told we would be there around 930 Saturday morning. Around 9:10 Saturday morning, the salesman texts us to let him know when we were 15 minutes out. We text him that we were 5 minutes out. The salesman asks us to meet him at the Ford lot. We did, and he walks to the nissan lot to get the vehicle but comes back without the vehicle. Says he can't find it. Really??? Come to find out, they let someone else take it home because that "someone else" purchased a murano without test driving it and ended up not liking it so they sent her home with the vehicle we were driving up there for and she didn't like that on either (from what we were told) so she was bringing it back some time later that day. I completely understand that they could not hold this vehicle for us. I understand that 100% but a courtesy text or call would have saved us a trip for nothing. All the guy says was, I'd like to bring you over to the other lot and have you talk with my manager.... no, thank you. Long story short, it was a great day at Nissan Silsbee. Communication is key.

Benoit Ford has had our truck for 47 days to do work that was covered under the extended warranty we purchased when purchasing the truck. A few of the parts needed were back ordered so it’s been a very long and draining process. We were only given a courtesy rental for 3 days of the 47. As you can imagine we were THRILLED when they called today and told us the work was completed and we could come pick it up! As soon as my husband opened the door to his truck there was a smell and visible mold and mildew. It was so bad in the back seat he could not even put out 6yr old back there. He got home and called the service dept manager and told her the condition his truck was in when he got it back. She told him he could bring it back for a detail that she wasn’t sure how the technician missed the condition it was in when he test drove it. He politely declined (it’s already been nearly 2mths they’ve had it) and told her they had lost his business if they could not take anymore pride in the way their dept was run. We spent the afternoon scrubbing his truck. We are hoping that after we have cleaned it that the smell goes away. *EDIT* Benoit Ford responded that someone had reached out to us after. That is not true. We have not received correspondence from anyone.

I went in with only requesting something affordable that was close to what I originally had. Tessie instantly had a recommendation and that was what we went with in the end. I absolutely adore my piolet and couldn't have received any better care. Even Jason with the financial department was extremely helpful, not only the day of, but within the next week. Shyanne LITERALLY went above and beyond to help my family in our time of need. This was about more then a vehicle, this was about restoring our stability. We couldn't make a deal that day but when the time came and I was able to I would only give Shyanne my business. Shyanne and Tessie helped me every step of the way! I went in with only requesting something affordable that was close to what I originally had. Tessie instantly had a recommendation and that was what we went with in the end. I absolutely adore my piolet and couldn't have received any better care. Even Jason with the financial department was extremely helpful, not only the day of, but within the next week. Where to start? Went in for an oil change and was told my dim light was out and they could order me one for $30. I agreed and I went back a few days later, waited 2 1/2 hours only to be told that they couldn’t change just the bulb, I’d have to order the whole light assembly for a mere $1000+, I agreed and waited for it to arrive. I found one online for $546 and called back to cancel that one. They told me I couldn’t get a refund as it was a special order. Ok that’s on me, I’ll play along. Assembly came in and I went in to get it changed out, waited 2+ hours only to be told that they had taken my old one off and put it back on because the new one was broke in box. Hmmm, didn’t check part before making appointment for me to come in? I was told one one be in the next day (Friday) for me to be there by 9 and they’d get it installed. I show up and wait almost 3 hours only to be told that the new assembly was installed, but it was the light module that was bad and for $300 more they’d have one there Saturday (this morning) for me to come back then. The mechanic came out and reiterated what the counter person had told me and assured me he’d be there when I came back for the fourth time to get my light working. I showed up this morning and was told they only do oil changes on Saturdays and I’d have to come back Monday. Sooo, four trips with at least one more to go. Out $1500, 200 miles of travel plus fuel, 10+ hours of my time, and aggravation. Are they this inept or just entertained screwing with me?

08-24-21 And still no call from anyone at Benoit Ford. More empty promises from a car dealer. Go figure. Received a call from Randall Haymon of Benoit Ford earlier today. After hearing me out, he came up with a solution that is more than fair for me and the situation I found myself in with Benoit Ford. Randall Haymon has taken serious steps to earn back my business, but most importantly, my confidence in Benoit...

Bought a used Ford f250 truck from hey 171. It was about $30,000 we borrowed from the bank and we traded another truck in on it. They said the truck was in great shape had been checked out by the mechanics and they found nothing wrong with it. Not even 24 hours after we got the truck it started running funny so we brought it back. Came to find out the motor was no good and they never looked at the truck before they put it on the lot. We fried at first to get our other truck back and our money but that wasn't an option. As soon as we said that they said we can't do that. They ended up fixing the truck and gave us a rental to use. At first they tried to make us pay $18,000 just to have it fixed. We had to argue with them because we had a warranty on it. We ended up paying $400 which was better than 18,000. It took them a month and a half to fix it. Not even two weeks later the transmission went out. We brought it back to them and they kept the truck for several days. They called us and said the warranty wouldn't cover it because they seen us street racing. Then he said they hooked a machine to it to be able to tell and it showed we was going 35mph and the rpm maxed out. Seriously who is going to win a race with the top speed of 35. So they never did fix it. We had to have it towed to our house then to hixson and we paid to have it fixed. Then we found out that we had to replace the front end too. All together we spent around $7000 for the transmission and front end. Then a two weeks later the brain in the truck went out and it wouldn't even crank up. When we went back to 171 to talk to them about the truck they said it was no longer there problem that it was ours to deal with when it left the lot. I do not recommend no one to use...

First I would say I have always liked fords and will always have fords. But I was not particularly happy about this service I got. We brought our 2017 Expedition in for a recall. I was told that the fan was the problem and it would be replaced. Then I was called and told they found another issue with the blower pigtail and the blower resistor. But these parts would not be covered. I asked why being they are wired together. I was then told they are two separate systems they do not connect in any way. That's just dumb because how could a fan blower resistor not be connected to its blower that it controls. It's not wifi compatible. I am a 20+ year mechanic so I was a little upset someone would say that. But they said they would charge no labor just parts. I asked how much the parts were. And was told 260.68, but they contacted Ford to see if it was covered. I was never given any documentation that showed this took place. But I went home and looked up the parts and was able to purchase them through Ford for 142.00. I then installed the new pigtail and resistor and the blower still did not work. I then tested the pgtail going to the blower and it had 12 volts. I then inspected the blower that was replaced by your service department and it had a screw missing. I uninstalled the blower and tried it with out being installed and blower worked. So I reinstalled the blower put all three screws in...
