Note this review is for 171 Nissan and has since been bought out and now known as Benoit Nissan. With this said, i'm not sure how much this review correlates with the new owner and services
I liked them at first but my continued experience has allowed for the likeness to dwindle. The employees are friendly and have no issues in this regard. However, there are other issues. My vehicle is a 2017 and so far since I purchased it in 2018 (not from this location), I've had 2 instances of warranty services that had to be done, in addition to a recall. First, they no longer seem to give you a vehicle to use while you wait for warranty work. I was told to bring in my vehicle only to find out when I got there that the system was down and could not work on my vehicles and had to drive back home. I understand things as such can occur but informing customers in such cases can allow for more tolerance. Next, I Brought my vehicle in for work that they told me would take about ten hrs, now it appears I will be without a vehicle for a minimum of 3 days. Granted this was due to unforeseen events associated with an employee which can be forgiven in their case. However, it is important for a business to function without dependence of a single employee. Backups are important to success. We'll see how long it actually takes while I inconveniently try and bum rides from people, so I can try and get stuff done. Next time I might try the dealership out of town.
Update 01: I have since been in contact with the dealership in regard to the service currently being conducted on my vehicle. It appears they are trying to help and accommodate me with a rental due to events that have prevented progress on my vehicle.
Update 02: It is currently the end of the day and no further contact has occurred. In this regard, I did not get a rental. The inconvenience is growing as there is no potential for me to work and not able to complete my daily tasks. A 10hr vehicle service has now become 4 days.
Update 03: I contacted services to get an update on my vehicle. Apparently, the person that is supposed to be working on my vehicle is in the hospital and can't work on my vehicle. Furthermore, the vehicle is not in any condition to drive off the lot, so I can't go get it to bring somewhere else. With this considered, I have no idea when i will be able to get my truck back. However, I was able to get an update regarding a rental. Apparently, the reason for not getting a rental yesterday was due to the fact they were not able to contact me. This was due to there being two numbers for me on file, one of which was incorrect due to what I assume as a typo as it was two numbers off. They also had the correct number on file as well. I am currently waiting on a call from enterprise regarding a rental.
Update 04: I called last week for an update and was told there was no update and they will call me when it's done. I brought the truck in to get the tow package wiring harness replaced. The original time I was told it would take was about ten hours. It took one day to remove the wiring harness and it is approaching the third week to put in a new one. I called this morning to find out that the dealership is technically not opened as they are changing ownership which I was not informed. I was told they maybe open tomorrow but they really dont know. So I dont know how long they have been closed and my truck not being serviced or if they will open again and where is my truck.
Update 05: I finally got my truck back. I have been driving it lightly for a few weeks. Now I am having new issues. My truck is making a loud noise. Almost sound like a 4 wheeler and has loss of power...
Read moreI received exemplary service from Melissa and especially Kennedy in the service department. Knowledge was imparted to me regarding insurance coverage that I could apply to my repairs that I was not aware of. It saved me over $2000. I remain incredibly grateful. And cudos to the mechanic that discovered the needed repair and repair my vehicle. I was made aware that the repairs were going to take a lot longer than was expected. Kennedy never hesitated to immediately offer a loaner vehicle until the repairs were completed. Again, Kennedy went out of her way to stay and wait for us to come and pick up our vehicle after hours. Thanks so much. Benoit Nissan will remain our go-to for any service either one of our 2 vehicles would require. Hello, we are positive that a wild rabbit is the culprit for all the damage. It was seen coming out from underneath the vehicle several times now. I have sprayed with peppermint oil and put out a lot of rodent bait as well. When we took the vehicle in for the above repairs, everything seemed back to normal. Come to find out, there was more damage to another sensor, and my warning came up again. We were able to file a supplement claim to the first one upon discovery, thanks to Kennedy's diligent pursuit of the issue. Yesterday, we took the vehicle in for the second repairs. I believe the mechanic might have been frustrated and in a hurry. When we got home, we discovered the engine cover had come loose for some reason and had been dragging on the ground in the front of the car. We had to get underneath the vehicle in the front and secure it with some gardening wire. I am not certain what happened, but there were no visible clips anywhere to be able to reattach the whole panel to the chasi? I think taking the front grill off may have damaged the clips, and they were not replaced with ones that would hold it securely in place. I'm not impressed with the second service at all. I called the service center and have not heard back? We were unable to go immediately for the repair. I called and was able to get an appointment for the following week. Everyone was very apologetic. It was repaired with new clips, and I was on my way. I am a faithful...
Read moreMy experience was horrible! First in the middle of looking for a vehicle and running my credit my sales associate got fired. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to describe the manager. They said they would fix things on my car before I bought it. I got a loaner car while they were “fixing” it. The only thing they fixed was the broken windshield! They didn’t even clean the car! They didn’t give me the new tires they said. They would. The treads were separated on these tires! I was very lucky I didn’t have a blow out. The front end had to be worked on. I brought the car in to their shop just a week after they said they fixed it. The estimated repairs were 600 dollars without the tires! I brought the auto bill to the sales associate and threatened to bring my car back. He refused to do anything and blamed all the things that didn’t get fixed on dodge, the place they took the car to get fixed. They over priced me on the car. 2014 Dodge Dart. OVER 15,000 for my car. My first big girl purchase and they took advantage of that! This is a dealership I will never deal with agian and I have bought two other vehicles out right. They gave me an expection sticker that went out two monthes after I got it! I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. This car has had over 1000 dollars worth of work that they agreeed to fix. I got it fixed just a month after being bought and they refused to do what they said they would do. Oh and I’ve been stopped twice for my car being reported stolen, or my plates I don’t exactly know which it is. THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME A SPARE TIRE AND THE TIRES ARE MY CAR WERE CLOSE TO A BLOW OUT! They were very nice people but they will smile while they are taking advantage of you. Their logo is “let’s make a deal”! Ha I didn’t know what kind of deal I was getting when I got this car but lesson learned! I hope this helps someone else. I know when u buy used there is a risk but this is more than just a few...
