I got to the location ~20 minutes early, checked in on the iPad. Went to my car as suggested in the email, thought this was a nice feature since there is 16 seats in the lobby and almost every single one of them was full. The lobby has more physical room for more chairs but they aren’t installed. Looking at videos/photos pre-COVID, they have never existed.
Checked in 20 mins early, received a text 10 mins before the scheduled time saying to come in. Around ~20 mins after my scheduled time a woman came from the back asking if someone was getting blood work, I raised my hand and started standing and the employee went and hid in the back, taking only one persons papers. Went to the counter to let them know also had a blood work appointment. The employee called two peoples name after finishing up with the customer who was at the counter, ignoring me standing there patiently waiting and attempting to walk to the counter between clients. Employee gave me a small amount of attitude about not having the printed paperwork after I told them I sent the paperwork while waiting.
They said they hadn’t gotten to me yet. ~15 minutes after that they called out saying to come to the window if you had been checked in but not called. I go to the window, they print my paperwork, I sign everything. The receptionist couldn’t hear me talking at a normal volume so I had to keep repeating myself. Then go back to sitting, waiting. 55 minutes after my scheduled time is when I get called and go to the back to get my scheduled bloodwork. The receptionist is the one doing my blood work. They could hear me fine in the back when doing the lab work, so I think it’s environmental reasons she couldn’t hear me prior. Her ability to draw blood was good, didn’t feel a pain outside the expected pinch. It was quick. She was friendly.
This place is short staffed badly, all my complaints are with the corporation and their management; not the people. They need a third or even fourth person. Ive been to this exact location twice in the past and I think I spent less time during those two visits combined than I did today. This was over 5 years ago. The text message feature is cool, but I wish I was texted when they was actually ready for me and not 65 minutes before they. Labcorp needs...
Read moreI don’t even know where to start.. Customer service here was absolutely terrible. I came here around in the afternoon to get a drug screening and i was a walk in. The lady informed me it would be a while since they had to take appointments and when I asked what the wait time was she couldn’t tell me. Patiently waiting, I noticed that people who walked in after me were getting called up. I know they didn’t have appointments because I heard them talk to the lady in the front about it. Still patiently waiting, the room begins to clear and at this point I’ve been sitting for 2 hours. I go up to the front desk wondering what was going on since more people who came in after me got called up, and when asking she tries to look for my drivers license (that they keep until they test you) and she can’t find it anywhere. At this point, I’m upset. She then finds it and informs me to sit down and that I would be right after the person who’s in there.. the person finally leaves and I go sit back down. The other lady who’s doing the drug screens comes out and CALLS SOMEONE ELSE’S NAME! Knowing I’ve still been waiting for over 2 hours, after being promised I would be next.. and after the front desk lady loses my license. At this point, I’m finally the LAST person in the office and I get called and they are extremely rude to me.
I’ve come here once before but never got a screening due to capacity and came back here again because it was my only option. Never coming back here again if I can avoid it and you all need to hire new people who actually care about their jobs, not lazy people who are rude and forget...
Read moreIf you ever want the cattle car experience when getting medical care, come to labcorp! Seriously, if I could give negative stars, I would. Extremely selective hours which can change on a whim, and you won't know till you get there. You might find them open, or you might see a printed piece of paper telling you to go to the next town, but only during the two hours they'll be open. Not open enough hours to space everyone out, which results in everyone showing up at once and cramming into a small room to wait for hours. Think about that. People showing up for medical care, crammed together in too small of a space for hours. Surely, nothing will go wrong from that! The employees are rude, dismissive, and move very slowly, not trying to hurry and help the situation. They also are not confidential, shouting both names and what people came for, loud enough for everyone to hear. Pretty sure that's a HIPAA violation on it's own.
Their competitors in town are the opposite, polite, confidential, and you get in and out.
Never come here unless it's your only option. Everything is so bad here, it made me wonder if it was a front for something else. I've been to a lot of medical facilities in my life, and this is by far the worst. I'm trying to think of what comparison would be valid, but even the most braindead fast food worker gives a better...
