Dandelion Acres Garden Center — Local services in Royalton

The prices are insanely high. Lots of plants are mislabeled (their jalapeno pepper plants somehow sprouted shishito peppers?) The lady who tried to help me with seeds this spring didn't seem to know anything about what I was asking her. And a lot of the plants we bought here had bug and fungus problems when they got home.

They say that they'll offer support for the trees you buy there, but when one of my peach trees died, their support consisted of "don't let it die next time."

Finally, despite being seriously overpriced, a lot of the women that work here tend to disappear into the back room, so finding someone to check you out can be a real challenge in itself.

In all, not worth the trip. But if those things don't bother you, it's a good place to get gardening tools and plant starters. You'll have to really give some love to the veggie starts if you buy them here, though....

The array of items for a small shop is amazing. The biggest mums for $8.99. Double the size of the grocery for half the price. And the have decorations you not seen anywhere else. Not higher priced, just well curated. One of my favorite seasonal shops, and the greatest plant nursery around. With free education for brown thumbs like me. This was a great garden center! The prices were great and the selection was as well. When I first went in I was only in the annuals section of plants. Then just as I walked out I noticed the perennial section of plants. Bought a ton of Campanulas for really great prices! Best selection of them(Campanulas) I have found anywhere to date....
