Eye Care For You, PC — Local services in Royalton

Well...now my evaluation of this place changed a lot as my visit progressed. Early on, it was a 1 star or a 0 star if I could have. The zero star is all pinned on the rude and socially inept Beth. She is the second person you will encounter with your visit here. Beth is 5 stars at making me feel like I am unwanted. Beth should find another line of work that doesn't involve people or service. She doesn't make eye contact, ignores what you say and most of what questions you ask. You are a ghost. Beth is likely running off customers with her dislike for people and don't want to work attitude. I can't think of a place where I have been treat this poorly before. Not one please or thank or how are you either. When she brings you to exam room, she just turns and shuts the door behind her without a word. I almost left.

THEN, enters Twinkle. She is as perfect of a 4th year medical student you could dream up. Twinkle is highly intelligent and very thorough and treats you like you truly matter to her. Twinkle listens to your concerns and addresses them. She even looked up some current research for me while I was there. Twinkle gave me the most comprehensive exam I have ever had. Unfortunately, Twinkle will be leaving the practice once she completes her time there as an intern. Twinkle is the saving grace within my review.

Will I continue to come to this place for treatment? Likely yes, because of Dr. Ikonomov, whom did the follow-up of Twinkle's work. He gave his time with kindness and addressed my concerns with real time medical knowledge. Dr. Ikonomov is a person you might want to ask for with your vision...

EyeCare For You are the BEST! They take care of our family and lots of other people we know. Everyone who works there are there to make sure we get the best eye care possible. There were many a time when we needed a last minute appointment, and we got it. We had after hours emergencies with our kids' eyes, and both Dr. Jerry and Dr. Dean Barcelow took excellent care of our daughters, doesn't matter how late the email/phone call came. My parents were here to visit from Belarus for a while in 2013 and my dad needed his eyes checked a couple of times and a new pair of glasses. EyeCare For You took very good care of him too: )

Whenever my glasses need to be tightened or adjusted excellent staff at EyeCare does so free of charge.

I guess to sum it all up, you get treated by everyone at EyeCare like you are their family member.

I would highly recommend Eye Care For You to anyone. These are people of high integrity, knowledge and professionalism. They really do care for you and take care of your eye sight and do it well.

I switched eye care based upon my husband's awesome experience with Eye Care For You. During my husband's appointment, Dr. Dean Barcelow noticed a suspicious "blemish" on my husband's face. Dr. Dean suggested that it might be precancerous and that my husband should see a dermatologist, which my husband did. Dr. Dean was correct! I also switched to Eye Care For You because I have giant cell arteritis, which in the worse case scenario, can lead to blindness. I had checked for optometrists who are familiar with GCA, and I was excited that Dr. Dean is such an optometrist. Also, Eye Care For You is only about 20 minutes from my home.
