I just got back from Bel Air located on Arena. Since I moved near this store I’ve been pleased, they’re fast and polite. Unfortunately today was not so good, I bought a rotisserie chicken and when I got home I cut it to serve it for dinner and it was bleeding. Of course it’s not something I was too happy about it’s 6pm and we’re hungry, I figured rotisserie chicken would be a faster way to go to avoid cooking dinner. I went back to the store told them the issue and I’m not sure if I spoke to the manager, but who ever it was didn’t really looked surprised or apologetic, she barely acknowledged me. The person bagging the groceries gave me more attention and apologized for the raw chicken. But that’s ok, I understand it’s late and maybe she wasn’t having the best of days. I get my money back and go to find something else to have for dinner since I have my family waiting at home. I get back in line to pay for some old fashion chicken salad and seafood salad, as I’m standing in line I see the same lady that assisted me with my return, she looked at me and whispered to the cashier grabbed the bag I had brought back with the raw chicken and put it on the floor then whispered to the cashier again. They both tried to look the other way and maybe thought I didn’t notice them looking at me. Now, I don’t know what it was said and I’m not really interested, but it’s very disrespectful and unprofessional to do that when a customer is standing right there! At least wait until I leave to whisper about me. Getting home with a bloody chicken didn’t upset me, it happens I guess. Returning the chicken and feeling like I was a bother, didn’t bother me. Standing in line and being looked at while whispering to another coworker, that bothered me!! It is rude and unprofessional, specially if she’s a manager there. I’m not one to complain, but...
Read moreThey always have what I need and are always well organized. I come just to this farther location just for the great service. Keep it up!
Update: Welp looks like they couldn't keep it up. I thought it was just for the holidays but no this place has become very unorganized, I can never find anyone to help because they are all trying to fulfil online orders and well customer service has gotten really bad. Just the other day I went with my brother after the gym to pick up some stuff for our daughters, we went to self checkout and started scanning our stuff, as I was typing on the screen to look up a tomato the lady "in charge of self checkout" came by and told me to make sure I put that it was organic. I didn't think much of it found the organic tomato and continued wit the rest of the stuff. My brother and I got done scanning, we paid and we started walking when she said she could ring me up. I asked her why and she said for the bags. Now I clearly put a 2 when it asked me for how many bags I used and I'm sure she saw because she was hounding us the whole time. I told her that I had already paid for them and that she obviously saw because she was right there the whole time. Regardless, I never thought I'd be treated like a criminal just because I went in sweats and a hoodie after the gym. I understand that she probably doesn't have much to do and that the area this Bel Air is in isn't necessarily the safest but she needed to use a bit more common sense. At this point I rather go back to the South Natomas Bel Air at least they treat everybody...
