Dollar General — Local services in Saegertown

I wish I could give zero stars. Terrible customer service. A lady pretending to be manager (she said she was acting manager while Mike was out) was my point of contact. She should not be in this position. I regularly order a case of Venom Original (Black Mamba) and pick it up on Saturdays. When I checked on it today she said, "We won't order it if you don't pick it up." I told her, "When I order it always pick it up on Saturdays." Then she accused me in front of other customers of NOT picking it up. I told her again, "When I order it I always pick it up." All throughout the conversation she kept making excuses for not ordering it and kept saying, "When you don't pick it up we have to sell it to someone else." Again I repeated that I DO pick it up but she continued to go back to, "When you don't pick it up.… blah blah blah" I'm highly offended at her repeated accusations. I never had this problem when Mike was there. Please remove her from this position, she needs to learn better customer relations skills. And tell her to stop accusing people of things that...

There was 2 times I simply was coming through saegertown and had to use the bathroom, the first time I stopped in to use the bathroom the lady behind the counter got mad at me for asking for the key to the restroom stating I had to wait in the line to get the key, the next time I stopped in it was the same lady behind the counter I politely said excuse me to everyone in line, at the time the line was for self checkout I was just saying excuse me to them so I could go up to her and get the key where she wasn’t busy with a customer, I come out only to hear her talking smack about me to someone at the register stating that I was being disrespectful, she then stated to me that I need to be polite and say excuse me to everyone in line rather than getting in front of everyone, needless to say if you gotta go to the bathroom in a hurry don’t go there, I guess using the bathroom...

Most of the employees are rude and not attentive at all. There is only one employee that is worth having there. Erik is very nice and not rude to any customers very helpful. It's to bad the rest of the staff is terrible. I was in there yesterday and in line in front of me was a lady in a bathing suit the cashier made a rude comment and threatened to kick her out. The lady waa just back from kayaking lost her shirt in the water and just needed a drink only to come into this store to b made to feel bad. Very uncalled for! I've seen these rude employees be jerks but you have no right to belittle a customer and make them feel bad about themselves. This is not how you should be operating your stores. The entire staff w the exception of one should be removed from that store....
