Today as i ventured out to do some very much needed shopping after being in the hospital for a lengthy time, I drove to this location because of the cleanliness and friendly staff (and i live around the corner from Garfield mall). I am so very happy i decided to go that short distance further! As i was peacefully shopping i started feeling ill, and went directly to the register to check out. As i was unloading my cart, the associate recognized that i was bottoming out (I'm a diabetic). Monica (cashier) immediately asked me if I'm diabetic and I told her yes. She grabbed my bananas weighed them, rang them up and pulled one off along with a few paper towels, while reassuring me that I will be okay. She called for another associate to help me and maintained her calming demeanor the entire time. My glucose was in the 40,s and dropping fast. She knew exactly what to do! She LITERALLY saved my life! Thank you Monica! We need more people like you in our crazy world. I want Marc Glassen to know about this customer almost down if not for such a great customer...
Read moreI went to this store on 3/4/2025 around 3p.m and got the worst customer service from a cashier. There were only two registers open and when she saw myself and my child get in her line she came from behind her register and proceeded to yell "there's another line very rudely" and I responded to her that line was full and the gentleman who had other customers she didn't see she went back to ringing out other customers. I left her line and went to the nice gentlemen line and he was so pleasant. But once I left her line I noticed more people started to come into her line and serviced them with no problem. Mr. LA is an exceptional worker. I understand we all have bad days and working in the public can be overwhelming but watch how you talk to people. We are living in different times and everyone...
Read more8 am Sunday customer service desk has a waiting line. One register is open with four customers waiting. Three of them have full shopping carts. Line 6 has a store associate but the light is not on for customers to checkout. The store associate on line 6 proceeds to let customers (that ask) checkout. I was one of the customers waiting at the one open register. I decided that I have seen enough. I dropped my basket in the middle of the aisle and walked out. If they can't take the time to move customers through the checkout line efficiently and fairly then they can spend the time restocking goods that I left in the middle of the aisle. I can go elsewhere and get...
