Super rude. Was there at open and there was already a customer inside, so I waited. When I approached the Lady I showed and explained to her about the items I had she said “give me a moment” grabbed an item and went in the back office door. As she left she said “Jesus”. I remained waiting for her to return. When she returned she seemed aggravated and began to look at my items. She was unsure of them and her interaction with me was not hospitable. Very condescending. I would definitely say she did not want to deal with me or quite possibly anyone that was walking through the door. I had other items I wanted to show her. Jewelry I needed repairing but told her that she was rude and because of how she was treating me and that she had said “Jesus” under her breath that I wasn’t even going to bring them out or do further business with her. Stay far away from Magma Gems. I took a watch in for repair and after three months it was still not fixed. I stopped by the store multiple times to follow up on the watch and they would always promise me that parts were on order and it would be ready in one more week. After about one month from my last contact with them, I stopped by to pick up my "not repaired" watch. The repairman said, "sir, I have already ordered the parts and your watch is in pieces in the back". I instructed him to please put my watch and parts in a bag as I planned to go somewhere else for my watch repair. I recently took an Add-a-Pearl necklace in with 6 pearl to be added. I knew for months that i wanted to get it dtopped of so we would have it back in time for a Christmas event. I knew going in that there was a possibility they would not be able to get it done 1 week begore Christmas and needing it back within that week, but i was willingly to try. I was told they didn't think they would be able to get it done by the date i needed but they would do their best. Well i received a call 2 days later that the necklace was ready for pick up. This to me is better than their best, this was above and beyond. They have added pearls to this necklace for me on other occassions and they have always done an amazing job, but this experience by far exceeded my expectations and they surley deserved this 5...
