Timbers is more like kindling wood. The food was subpar and you can tell everything was from food truck to steam table or even microwave. The burnt ends were terrible. Half of them were all fat and not even any protein for 11.99 very disappointing and they were not even prepared on site. Thank you US FOOD Service or SYSCO for your once again food in a bag provisions.
The cod my wife ordered was saturated in oil. The oil temp was too low and it soaked it all up and th fish was literally leaking oil when she bite into it.
Her onion rings were way over cooked and too thin. There really was no onion, just breaded rings.
The coleslaw is from a bucket with zero flavor and or even a vinegar. I mean at least have some kind of a flavor to it please.
My dinner was the pork chop special. They were boneless and a bit over cooked as they were hard as a rock. The apple and cranberry chutney was ok and the sauce it was swimming in was all watery. No consistency to the chutney at all.
We had the red velvet cheesecake and it was about the best item they served us. It was definitely a frozen dessert as it had a very dense and almost concrete consistency to it. But the flavor was there for raspberry.
For a $63.00 meal plus tips it was kind of disappointing for the reviews that was done for this place. I suggest you could do better then here. Very disappointed in what they serve.
Step away from the heat and serve things and go back to the basics and cook your meals, apps, and train on proper oil temps, and when your products are ready to serve. Not burnt or dried...
Read moreWe have always been pleased with our food and service at Timbers until today. We had Haylee as our waitress. She had a bad attitude, was very short with us, avoided our table, altogether a very unpleasant person. We had to ask another waitress for more coffee and napkins. Haylee did not come back to our table once the mgr served us our food. After waiting quite some time to get her attention we ask for two to-go boxes. She dropped one box on the table as she kept walking. So we waited quite awhile before we got her attention and ask for the second to-go box. She seemed annoyed. She quickly dropped off our bills and once again kept on walking. We never got to speak to Haylee as she either avoided us or practically ran passed our table with no eye contact. We did not get thanked for visiting Timbers today. Haylee never returned to our table after quickly dropping off our bills. After waiting for Haylee to return to pick up our payments - we decided to find the correct cash payments so that we needed no change. We were tired of waiting for our waitress to quickly run past our table. The restaurant was not extremely busy while we were into Timbers. There was no excuse for Haylee's rude treatment of customers. Our food was...
Read moreAbout 3 years ago my father and I traveled up to the surrounding area for a show. Our hotel recommended this place for a good steak. We went there that night and had a great steak! In fact we went back the next night and over the next two years drove 5 hours to go back to eat there on several different occasions. It's worth your time. I could go into more detail about how the wait staff was wonderful, talkative, friendly and helpful. I could talk about the really good steak we had. I need to mention the really rustic environment with such cool history. However, I really want you, the reader, to go experience it yourself. I think you'll have yourself a great place to eat. If I'm ever even close to this restaurant I'll go out of my way to get a steak there. I can't vouch for the other food as I've only had the steak, but I have to say it's probably just as good. Often time my father and I will reminisce about the good food there. Do yourself a favor, stop in, pause time, relax and enjoy a great meal... You...
