UPDATE 1/31/2017: THE PARK IS FIXING ALL OF THE ROADS! They have hired a professional crew that is systematically going road by road to patch and repair all of the roads. They are doing a VERY GOOD job and the road to and from the BOAT RAMP has been repaired and is free and clear of any potholes that in the past were frequently deep&hard to avoid. Thank you very much for addressing this problem in a manner that I have faith will "hold up" this time...........ORIGINAL POST : I have been here for couple years now, much longer than expected but we have started to feel at home😉Staff in Front Office and on Maintenance Crew are AWESOME..In my original post I forgot to mention the Security Team(because I have never had any real problems here it didn't really cross my mind) but they are all very attentive to who is coming and going from park and very friendly & helpful as well. There is also a phone number they can be reached at during anytime of day or night. As for security features there is an automatic gate you need passcode from office to enter& newly installed security cameras are all over park and in front parking/office area that help this remain a generally safe area..To be very honest the only real issue we have consistent problems with is the quality of the roads. They definitely need some REAL WORK instead of filling in or patch jobs (like they have tried their best at many times to do). There are very LARGE and very DEEP potholes throughout entire park so drive slow! And no this is NOT a maintenance issue, they try to repair them and I think because of the actual make up of the land/soil&Florida rain..it is hard to keep them from opening back up & coming right back..A true overhaul of the roads(even if it were one at a time would be sooo appriciated by the majority of residents who live here year round)this is what would really be needed to fix this issue..It is EXCEPTIONALLY BAD driving to BOAT RAMP & dog run area so please DRIVE SLOW or there is a good chance you will damage the undercarriage of a car, golf cart or boat trailor...Otherwise, on a more positive note, there is a ton of neat wildlife and they have two large pools&hot tub.The park is located in a quiet & very peaceful area of "Orlando" only a couple miles from OIA and 20 or so miles to Disney;and 35 miles over to Cocoa Beach& The Space Center. We also have a brand new Walmart that just opened down the road that is within a couple...

Office staff are super awesome and friendly, very helpful and kind. Whenever i have a question or a request, they truly go all out to provide you with the right info and to help in any way possible.
Maintenance crew are super cool, chilled, and they do everything they can to try and keep the park clean.
Lots of ducks and birds roaming around which I personally love. Air feels cool and fresh and we have lots of shaded area.
👎🏻CONS laundry facility is ALWAYS dirty. The washers will constantly be down leaving us with 1-2 machines less to use (not the parks fault though) unfortunately the water is not filtered so the clothes comes out smelling weird; and there aren't enough machines for the entire park
Lots of old-run-down RVs 😔 which makes the park look a bit messy and ugly and some have junk around their lot. (I think this is something, us the tenants can work on and clean up our area, wash the outside of the RVs, and so on)
Some people leave their dogs roaming around without a leash, or don't pick up after them, so be ready to find dog poop around your area!
Loud MUSIC, this has gotten out of control. People driving around with LOUD music blasting through their car at all times.
Speeding, this one makes me super angry because we have a lot of small kids playing around and riding their bikes and I've lots of people drive super fast making it unsafe for our children.
Trash area is a huge dump; I've been the park trying to keep the area organize and clean, they're also spending a lot of money by having the city come in on a weekly basis to pick up old dumpster and drop off empty ones, but some people just throw trash anywhere.
In overall, I think the rules and regulations need to be implemented a bit more.
If we, the tenants put an effort to help keep the trash area clean, help keep the laundry clean, be considerate and keep loud noises to a minimum (especially after 9:00PM), keep our RV and lot areas organize and clean, drive carefully, keep all pets on a leash, etc., The park would be in much better conditions, there is only so much the owners can do, is up to US, the tenants to HELP keep our park safe...
Read moreTo be totally fair, and up front ...I don't live here. My experiences here have been short-lived,as I visited sandalwood twice ... to pick up or bring home a coworker, and hang out for a couple hours with them at a time. So I have only seen it during very early morning or in the dark. At night if you don't know where you're going ,the roads are not lit. I use the term roads loosely, they're more like paved trails. So you have to know where you're going. The units are very close together in my opinion and there's quite a few in this lot... it's bigger than it looks. As far as the units go I can only speak for the co-worker that I drop off ...his unit is older than myself, either very late '60s or early '70s. And is very similar to a lot of the trailers that are at this park. There are also lots with RVs, usually class C's on them. My coworker's unit has been well used over the years and is pretty rough around the edges and they're rounded edges if you know what I mean lol. The neighbors are nice enough and if you're a long-termer here, you get to know everybody, and their business which I don't think is unusual. The grounds are not well kept. It all depends on who you're living next to, or the neighbors around you. If they're clean, you have a clean area around you ,if not .....I'm not quite sure when the trash is picked up . My friend that lives there says it all depends on what area you live in and most of the areas could use some friendly litter pickup on a weekend. The rent is pretty cheap in comparison to the upscale ZIP code that surrounds, so it's a good value I suppose ... and it is in a great location, pretty central to everything that you need to get to. So as far as value goes, I think it's a great place if you're budget minded for housing, especially in today's world. Would I live here? Honestly ,I think I would if my financial situation and or job situation got to a certain point. Still too early to know how 6staff interacts and works, as My coworker is a new tenant. So time will tell and I will update this post if it's a negative situation... but for now the people at the front desk were...
