Recently canceled my membership. This gym used to be nice to go to when it first opened. Decent equipment and open space.
I’m from Los Angeles and have come here whenever I would visit over the last several years. This past fall, I recently moved to St George full time and became a full time member. After 6 months of coming here full time, I’m definitely turned off big time. Not the same gym it used to be.
The quality has gone down and it has issues. Bathrooms always have issues with plumbing, doors not latching correctly and can pop open, and weird sewage smells.
Starting to get over crowded at certain times. A lot of “married” couples with wandering eyes. Definitely has a weird swinger vibe now. The members have definitely become very cliquey as well. I like to keep to myself. I’m not there to compete with anyone. But dang, this place has become judgmental. Everyone looks the same, and if you are different in anyway, they definitely give off weird judgmental vibes. Front desk guy is weird and judgy too.
Apparently they are trying to hire a new manager, but the guys up front were saying they don’t want a manager with a college degree, they want a cool manager who they can go on a “road trip” with….. uh huh. Again very weird vibe for making that comment. Go have fun with a manager you can Broke Back Mountain with.
Maybe hire a manger who cares about the gym and keeping the quality high. Obviously the people who run this gym don’t have good business sense or good quality...
Read moreI mainly travel to St. George to visit family that lives here and I didn't want to give up the workout routine!
Found this gym on Google and wanted to give it a try based on the solid reviews and I'm glad I did!
The gym is clean, well-maintained, and tons of space and equipment. There are at least 6 squat racks/platforms, a functional area, turf, regular gym equipment, plus a small selection of cardio machines to use. You really can't ask for anything else to get a complete workout of any body part you can think of. Everyone that goes here is nice and generally seems pretty serious about their fitness/health lifestyle. That being said, it's an easy-going gym where you don't feel uncomfortable if you do need to share equipment or ask for help.
An additional bonus is the ability to enter/exit even when the gym isn't staffed with their excellent phone application that you are able to use even with Day, Week or Monthly Passes.
I highly recommend this gym to anyone visiting or living in St. George if you want to find a complete gym to accomplish your...
Read moreSouthern Utah's BEST gym. Every time I visit from Phoenix, this is the choice gym to visit. I've been to all the gyms in the area but this one is the cleanest with the best equipment. Plenty of squat Racks, amazing turf area, and tons of handy gear/equipment no other gym has. If you haven't checked it out, please do so. You will be amazed at how much you will love it.
The only promo I miss is buy a shirt get a free day pass. I proudly wear my fitcult shirts to the gyms here in Phoenix, but i wish the promo was...
