I am writing this complaint because I can no longer tolerate what I have repeatedly experienced at this location. I visited the Costco Business Center last Saturday morning, June 21st, right at opening time at 7 AM. I am a frequent customer here, so I know this is not an isolated incident.
There is a cashier named Deonshae who is consistently extremely rude â especially towards Asian customers. Every time I have encountered her, she has never once responded to my greeting, no matter how many times I say hello politely. She scans items roughly and throws my groceries down carelessly instead of placing them gently. This is not just a one-time issue â it happens every single time I see her.
It feels intentional. Sometimes she even makes âmistakesâ on purpose, like scanning the same item twice. Whatâs worse, after ignoring me completely, she turns to the next customer and suddenly becomes friendly and polite again.
I do not understand why she behaves like this, and it makes me feel that she clearly discriminates against Asian customers. I have even tried to avoid her line whenever possible, but last Saturday morning there was no other cashier available, so I had no choice but to check out with her again â and it was the same rude, disrespectful treatment.
I am certain that Deonshae will deny this behavior if she is ever confronted. However, I am writing this review now and I will visit this location again next week to see if anything changes.
If I experience the same disrespectful and discriminatory behavior one more time, I will not hesitate to reveal my name and report her directly to Costco Corporate and every possible Customer Service channel. I want this on record so that Costco is fully aware of how she treats Asian customers.
This is completely unacceptable, and I truly hope Costco takes this...
Read moreOkay for all you people who don't know how to read and put comments that are irrelevant this is not I repeat not a regular Costco that's down the road a few miles away....this is a business Costco.....specifically designed for. business. customers you will not find normal everyday items at this Costco this Costco is here to cater to the commercial accounts not residential accounts so for all those people who are complaining about this Costco maybe you should go to the one down the road just south of this Costco to a normal residential style Costco. This Costco caters to bulk purchases and businesses with the intent of buying large quantities such as restaurants vendors and resellers It does not offer all the other items that a standard Costco has as it is not intended for that. Also the people are great and all the workers are awesome and very helpful and I appreciate all of their hands-on capabilities when dealing with commercial vendors. So if you want your $1.50 hot dog and soda or slice of pizza then go down the street to the other Costco they'll be happy...
Read moreThis is a great addition to St. Louis. There are several items in bulk for businesses besides the electronics (meat slicer, freezer, washers, mixers, printers, speakers, etc.) . Surprisingly, there are also many similar smaller items that we usually see at regular Costco locations. Some of the items that are in bulk are cheaper than buying them at regular Costco locations. Apart from businesses, this is definitely a place to consider going for buying groceries when hosting big parties and with thanksgiving approaching, this is a perfect place for holiday season. Lot of several meat choices (whole goat, lamb, pig and duck) and several cheese options than what we find at the regular Costco locations. They also have fueling station and we can put in an order for truck load of items if needed. No food court, but that is totally fine. Staff was great and very friendly. A must visit for all...
