Deluxe Truck Stop — Local services in Saint Joseph

First, this whole incident is recorded on our trucks dash cam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Second, this truck stop is clean, a very nice truck stop, has nice showers, and has truck washes. (small but very nice) Im not giving this place one star because of anything about this truck stop other than the owner, Nick.

We were parked in the 30 minute parking, which yes we get it, its 30 minutes....but the owner Nick went about telling us to move the WRONG way.

He walked over to us and knocked in the door and said, "Its time to move." Also going over to another truck driver and telling him to move. After he tells the other driver to move, him and another guy named Ryan start laughing!! RUDE! We had no problem moving but dont be rude about it.....we filled up in fuel, reefer, and purchaced items from this truck stop.

10 minutes later he walks over to our truck, after we moved and he tells us that his dog died of cancer today. Trying to make us feel bad???? Also, he says, "I have cancer too." Guess what Nick!! I have family that has cancer too! Dont use that as i way to make ppl feel bad!!

I tell him everything is going to be put in the review and he says thats fine i will erase the review. I say thats fine.....my husband has the whole incident on his truck...

Went there for truck and trailer wash as well the interior of the trailer, i explained i have 2 gallons of oil spilled in the trailer floor and need it removed, one person showed up looked my trailer and told me it was doable, paid for service and all they done was rinse cold water inside the trailer. I asked if that was not the service i requested, and they said no work was guaranteed, but why they didn't mention that the first time when they looked at the spill? These ppl need to have better communication with customers in what they can and can't do. I asked since the first time I need degreaser and after collecting payment and ridiculously pouring water to rinse the trailer, they said they won't do it. How do they sleep at night having this kind of works? This no where near to a deluxe wash, shame on then. Update: they could say whatever they want, the truth is , if you paid for some service regardless the kind of it, you expecting that service to be done correctly, I never refused to paid extra thank God money wasn't a barrier here. It was the quality of the job performed. But a picture talks for it self, I upload 6 of them who in here won't get mad after paying $136 and getting...

For anyone that needs a washout don't waste your time here, because apparently they can put you in line where it's most convenient rather than in the order you show up.

Pulled up to the open bay and the kid washing tells me the truck behind is next. I said no I was after the stock trailer he calls the front desk and somehow that truck is next. As I am nosed up to the empty bay. I told him if I back out I'm leaving he shrugs his shoulders and say I'm sorry that's what they told me. I heard the trucker on the phone with the front lady while getting my ticket and she says your after the siemer truck. So I left. This was the last strick after being charged for an extra hr that I wasn't even there for the time before. Cow trucks and loyal customers mean nothing next to the daily hog truck. I will be doing business elsewhere from here on, as...
