Kids' Kollection — Local services in Saint Joseph

I go here often, the space is really tight. It’s very hard to get to the correct size rack that I need when I have a stroller with me because the racks are too close together. Occasionally you can find cute stuff for a good price. But a lot of the stuff is super over priced for it being a second hand shop. A lot of the items look really dated and worn. Now, I don’t mind searching for gems at thrift shops. My biggest issue with this place is the owner. I’ve been in there a handful of times and have heard her talking badly about other customers or kids that were just in. I also watched her get on to this little girl who was playing with some of the toys, and she was so mean to this little girl, I left and contemplated on not going back. I was just in today looking for something very specific for my children, didn’t find what I was looking for, so I thanked her and started walking out. I have a passion for gently used children's clothing, so I was excited to come here for the first time after reading reviews (Sep 2022). I was pleasantly surprised. Clothing is organized in sections based on size, so a round clothing hanger holds all 4T clothing, for example. I was able to look through several sizes quickly and found high quality shirts and dresses for $2 to $6 that looked brand new. All items pictured were found there. It wasn't busy, so that was a plus for me. The staff was very kind and kept complimenting my children (they wore ballet outfits into the store). Just left the store in tears! Will not be back. A Kids store that does not like kids. Before I even walked in the door, a lady was sitting outside, staring at me as I was unloading my kids. Once I got in the owners kept looking at me because I had three kids in mind you my kids aren’t naughty. The store is too Congested and compact to have strollers or wagon or anything like that So I have to carry one child while I’m nine months pregnant then hold ones hand. The whole time the owners snickering things like I don’t like kids running around my kids were not running around. I will not be back. I’ll take my kids money somewhere else. Extremely sad.
