I have been going to your clinic for years now. I have always had very good experiences with your clinic and staff. It was just recently that I have had some poor experiences and some very interesting hardships from your clinic. First your clinic has been cutting some insurance use. To which now I have to try to find a new carrier that you will accept. Second I was hurt on the job, I was told to see my own physician and give them all the paperwork for them to fill out. Good grief why don’t you have people trained to know that you Can’t Accept the paperwork for my work injury, because you only deal with your own clinic workers or the Coeur d alene casino. I feel sorry for the people in your area that do get hurt on the job. That’s a long drive for local people. It’s a long drive for me to go to a native clinic for natives. I personally got to the clinic and was told in person that you where turning me away from medical treatment. I have to say that was the first time I felt discriminated against from another tribe. IHS services are to be available to most if not all Native’s regardless of the reasons. But it looks like your clinic get’s to pick and choose its services without even trying to work the issue and passing the buck to someone else’s Clinic forcing people to have to drive way farther than is necessary to get medical treatment which is a disgrace IMO when you have the staff and services at hand to handle the issues in most cases. Also when referrals are needed it shouldn’t take almost 2 full months to get the referral paperwork processed or have to repeatedly call your clinic to make sure it’s getting completed in a timely manner… this is highly unacceptable your clinic used to be so much better but as of late has been found sorely lacking in...
Read moreI’ve been going to this clinic since I was brought into this world, they’ve seen myself and my family for everything. I have always felt well taken care of, up until these last two visits.
The first instance, I traveled from North Spokane, extremely sick, thinking I had strep and they tested me for Covid - the test came back negative and they tried sending me on my way. I had to cry in order to be seen again, only to be diagnosed with strep - my original thought.
The second instance was today, traveling 3 hours, I went in to get my depo shot - I am a week early before the due date but all websites state that you can get your shot as early as 10 weeks. I showed this to the nurse and explained that I wouldn’t likely be here within the next two weeks because of the travel time. She went to speak to the doctor only to say that they won’t do it and I should look for a provider closer to where I live. No explanation, information, nothing.
I’ve always taken pride in the clinic, in the way they’ve treated me and my family, I will travel to be seen by them - but these last two instances have left me feeling brushed under the rug and as if they’re being lazy...
Read moreMy doctor hasn’t even suggested an annual colonoscopy and I’ve been due since 2023, they haven’t even asked. My doctor from Providence on Spokane valley, called and said I’m due for annual everything. My last colonoscopy was 2020, when I had digestive issues. I’m going back to providence! I don’t care for the doctors here! I hate this place! Was going t no ask to switch to a more expensive medication! This place was all over it when my insurance would cover the $2000 shot! Last lady even called me three times in a row, left two messages and then text message! They were all over that shit. Called everyday h til they got a hold of me! I’m good! I’ll pass! I want off any medications! How sad. They didn’t respond when I said I’ve thought everything over and would like to go a different route and get off the Suboxone. When I wanted it for pain management, they were all over it. Dam. Wish they’d be as persistent with my annual medical whatever! I’m going back to providence. I can’t stand this place. I’ll keep my dental here, but it my...
