Shoe Sensation — Local services in Saint Marys

I love the huge selection that they offer for shoes of all seasons. The prices are awesome if you can get them on sale. The plus side is that they often are having a sale in one section or another, but if you are on a budget or have a bigger family that all needs shoes then sometimes it can be end up being more on the expensive side. Besides this store we only have two other store where you get even get shoes in town which is Duhnams and Walmart. In my opinion Shoe Sensations falls in between those two store in regards to their price points. They do carry a big selection of name brand shoes which is an added bonus plus lots of accessories such as socks, shoe charms, shoe care/cleaning kits, shoe laces, backpacks, etc etc. Also if they dont have your size in stock they can order online for you and get it shipped to your house. Me and my family use to always support this store in St. Marys our whole life until I had an AWFUL experience there. I was trying on a pair of shoes that I was going to buy.... the store sold the shoes on my feet that I was trying on to someone else... (of course last size) and told me to take off because they were already paid for while on my feet. Buyer and clerk thought it was funny. It was not funny one bit...it was ABSURD & RUDE. What a waste of my time. The girl purchasing knew I was buying but I guess it's OK to buy without shoes and box on hand and take off someone's feet. This happened last summer & I still do not find acceptable. And why are size 10...

Called the store to check prices and availability. The manager was very friendly and helpful. I drove over to look at the shoes and purchased 2 pair of hiking boots. The manager treated me very well and helped me in every way (handing me shoes to try on - and making suggestions on sizes. It felt like when I was buying over a decade ago when a shopper received complete attention and service from the store employee!! I would recommend this store to all. Great store and selection to...
