County Home Center — Local services in Sainte Genevieve

My experiences are vastly different from the others posted. I have lived here all my life and have never had a bad experience here. I find the workers friendly and informative. When I ask a question they don't treat me like I'm an idiotic girl. Other one in town gives me eye rolls, snarky comments etc. My 81 year old mother will call and they take their time explaining things to her also. Their selectiona may not be vast like Lowe's, Menards, or home depot....but our town isn't as vast as where they are located. I love this store and it's employees. Shop local....take pride in your community and give these people...

i would love to shop local but ive had a bad experience at both locations 1 both locations have a very limited supply of anything 2 both locations have workers with a know it all attitude and at the ste gen a employee followed me around like a buzzard looking for road kill so i walked out with out purchasing anything and bloomsdale a employee informed that "there is no need for a military discount" i could careless about the discount it was manner in which he informed me like he gave 2 sh$$s about the military a little respect goes a long way yall lost a good costumer as i am...

I always liked the way the employees would help you find exactly what you need fast when you tell them your project. The do it center always kept 5 stars from me but It has changed the Last few times with the name. I seem to be on my own when I visit just like the big low priced Dept stores. All in all I Still like having a hardware store in our small town.
