CVS — Local services in Sainte Genevieve

I have been waiting on a prescription for 5 days. I called my doctor’s office following up on my request and was told they sent it in. They assured me it was. I called and spoke with the pharmacy and was told because it “wasn’t covered by my insurance” and is “available over the counter” so my prescription put on hold. When I spoke to a manager I got the same response. At no time was I contacted regarding its status. Second, just because you can get something OTC doesn’t mean a prescription is warranted. My doctor orders prescriptions based on my personal medical information and history and what he determines to be best for me. My DOCTOR determines my treatment not a pharmacist. Will not...

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY !!! My DR. called in a scrip at 9:10 am I go to the drive through at 1:20 pm person at the window said they didn't have my order on there board come back later and they should have it by 4:00pm. I call my DR to confirm it was called in . Yes it was called in at 9:10 am . My Dr. calls CVS they tell her I was told it wasn't ready yet. ! Don’t go here for COVID shot. Unorganized, tell you to bring ID and insurance but then don’t even ask for it. Arrived early and still waited a half hour before shot from our appointment time. Two others with us waited just as long. They gave a reason of its a day after holiday. You knew you had appointments you should have been prepared.
