Read more7.4/10 - They show 3D movies, which is usually the only reason I'd go out to watch a movie anymore. But for some reason, they rarely show more than one 3D movie in 3D at a time. They'll show a movie in 3D until the next 3D movie comes out, and then switch to only showing the newer one in 3D while still showing the previous one, but only in 2D. I know it's possible for them to show more than one 3D movie at a time because right now they're still showing The Last Jedi (which opened last weekend) in 3D and also showing Jumanji in 3D (which opened this weekend), and the times of some of those 3D showings overlap, meaning they're capable of showing 3D in more than one of their theaters. But they almost never do. They showed Coco in 3D for a short time (before I had a chance to go see it) and then after that, only showed it in 2D once the next 3D movie came out. The 3D showtimes for the latter movie were only 1 to 2 times a day, meaning they could have continued showing Coco in 3D in another theater, but simply didn't for some reason. This kind of thing is usuall...
Saw Aquaman in Auditorium 1. The air-conditioning wasn't running that great. But the real issue was the picture quality. The projection was out of focus and the image looked like it was cropped too. Noticed it from the beginning with the previews. An employee came to look at it, and agreed there was a problem. He said he was going to inform the manager. Never heard back, and film stayed hazy till the end. I don't know if this is a post Yutu problem, but it's the first time I watched a film with that projection issue.
Drinks and consessons were also limited: only Sprite, fruit punch, and ice tea flavor soda. Popcorn was good though, still same old movie popcorn. I'll probably give the theater a bit more time to iron out the kinks and recover post typhoon before viewing another picture. Looks like they are still in...
Read moreSeating is comfortable, but this place is a nightmare if you plan on seeing a movie on its opening night. Only 1 ticket window so I suggest purchasing tickets online or showing up early. Food is very over priced and on occasion I've seen them search bags to see if you're smuggling snacks (seems extreme). Great for casual dates or just something to do with kids or family. There is a small arcade with a handful of games and crane machines. They do accept cards, but bring cash just in case.
P.S. You don't have to be watching a movie to buy an ICEE. Incase you were craving one on...
