This restaurant has been around since about 2014, though it doesn't yet appear on Google Streetview. It was not busy at all when I was there at lunchtime on a Friday around 11:30-12:30, but many Korean tourists are taken there by their guides in the evenings, according to my friend who took me for lunch.
The food surely meets expectations, except that they don't serve one of my favorites, sweet and sour pork (tang-soo-yook, 탕수육), which, to be fair, Koreans may consider to be Chinese food, even though it is served at many Korean restaurants.
The prices are kind of high per person. Expect to spend a minimum of $20 for two people if you're on a budget, and about $30 or more if the two of you have big appetites. At the end we got charged 57 dollars because of the rice that they offered. They didn’t say anything about charging us rice. For 57 dollars none of us felt even closer...
Read moreOutstanding Korean food. I have eaten here a few times and it is always good. My most recent trip I got the bulgogi. As is typical of upscale Korean restaurants the bulgogi is $15 and includes multiple sides of veggies but does NOT include the rice. The rice is an extra $1. It was a large serving of food and I left more than full. After Typhoon Soudelor this was one of the first restaurants on Saipan to get a generator and reopen. Piggy House was the light and all else...
