San Jose Market — Local services in San Jose (Saipan)

Used to be a high end super market or like a very known and most visited grocery store. Now, XO Market and other stores that opened on island like LJ Markets big store in Gualo Rai took them out of the competition. They are now kinda just those stores on the side of the road. 99cents still thrives, but even 99cents seems like its not as busy as they would like yo be. Fine local market, stocks all the necessities. Prices aren't the lowest, but still cheaper than joeten. The staff is very helpful though, and friendly. Very clean and well organized. But I wouldn't reccomend it unless you are close. There are plenty of other local markets...

Was here for a weekend and I'm not going to lie. Sanitary measures need to be addressed here. But then again, you can find decently priced groceries. Just be sure to be wise and check...
