I am a very disabled man who gets a massage to help me do everyday activities that are hard for me because I can't even walk well. While I was getting the massage on June 6th it was very intense which is good for me. So maybe I was making moaning or grunting noises as she put it. Probably because it was painful. She felt uncomfortable so she faked an emergency 15 minutes after the massage started. Leaving me to believe something seriously went wrong. And I was worried about her. I am a very considerate and respectful person by far. Point is if you're a disabled man you should not get a massage there. They obviously have a problem with males being in there. If a woman would have made those same noises it wouldn't have bothered the lady and she would have continued the massage. This experience was extremely humiliating because they don't have the heart to tell males that they would prefer to give females massages. That is horribly sexist and completely humiliating. Ā Ā Ā Read moreHealing Grounds Center is THE total package, offering a combination of services not offered anywhere else in the area. I have been a balance Pilates member for more than 6 months and it is more than worth every penny. The program allows flexibility between 1-unlimited classes a week, while also providing accountability and a sense of community. The Pilates instructors, Amy and Natalie, are very educated and helpful in instructing a variety of types of classes. They teach in a compassionate way that focuses on form for safety, while also getting in a good workout. The spa side of the house is also amazing. Both Jess H. (Esthetician) and Maggie (massage therapist) have been amazing as well. They both are knowledgeable, kind, and are great at communicating in a way that makes clients comfortable before and during the service. After receiving a service or attending a class, you can hop over to the cafe to get some healthy treats! I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is wonderful, the location is convenient, and the app is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHealing Grounds is a great location of beautiful and encouraging women who are truly there to cheer you on; Carly, Sam & Natalie, among many others.
I have specifically been working with Natalie, a knowledgeable nutritionist, who for the last few months, has guided me in healthier choices. Choices and knowledge not just in food/nutrition, but in exercise/activeness and life. I have looked forward to and enjoyed each of our meetings. Loved the pilates class I took with her as well. Calming yet focused and strengthening.
I am looking forward to indulging and investing in the many services they offer at Healing Grounds and hope to build more relationships with the women in this community.
Thank you for all you do and offer at Healing Grounds. A...
