Gene & Boots Candies Inc — Local services in Salem Township

I would like to commend Gene and Boots for their extra and thoughtful care in packaging their products from PA to Hawaii. I was so amazed by their packaging (extra insulated to make that delivery from PA. to HI. 5 days), as I unwrapped it I took photos (I wish can share the amount of care taken, so awesome). The deluxe chocolate box, the solid chocolate unicorns and their famous gummie bears were so fresh just as if I went to the shop itself. I highly recommend you expose yourself to these wonderful Chocolate treasures. My husband is from Charleroi, Pa. After having these treats, his glow and smile gave him a happy memory of home. Handmade candy selection is limited, they don't make as much as they used to. Gertrude Hawk candies are sold in the case along with the few handmade candies they do sell. The diabetic candy is stale. I have gone into the store to buy something without store being manned. Waited ten minutes and left the items on the counter. Staff really should lock the door if they can't man the counter. Also have seen young kids running the store (only one staff member) by themselves after dark. This store is in the middle of nowhere along the highway. It's unsafe and a great way to get...

Amazing candy store that sits just off of 22 and 66. Although it's not the parent location it looks and feel similar. The workers are very helpful and friendly but be prepared. Chocolate prices are not cheap. I have also found this location need to turn it's product faster candy other than chocolates we've purchased seem to be stale or hard. My son loves his gummy bears but gets jaw fatigue trying to chew them. Same thing with other candies as most people come there for...
