Salem Crossroads Apothecary — Local services in Salem Township

My small local pharmacy closed abruptly, with only a 2 day notice given to its customers . My family and I were simply shuffled over to a large chain pharmacy across the street. This was done without any consideration, that this new pharmacy doesn't even accept our insurance. I searched high and low for a family owned and operated local pharmacy, hence why am here. A new customer With Salem Crossroads Apothecary. From day one everyone from the extremely pleasant and always helpful Pharmacist DJ to the ancillary staff, it is ALWAYS a positive experience. The cost is much better , the wait time is almost nothing at all, and they sell the cutest little items for the holidays. We need more locally owned pharmacies and other businesses alike. I just about had it with popular chain pharmacies. Every time I was going to get my medications they would never be filled after the selected date. Then I'd end up waiting to have it filled. Not to mention the prices are ridiculously high when they don't need to be. One day, I angrily made the switch to this pharmacy after a final bad experience and it's been so awesome to the point of necessitating a review. They're nice and they fill scripts quick even when handed a physical script. I got 3 prescriptions for 30 bucks when I WAS paying 40 for just one of those medications at the chain pharmacy. Knowledgeable pharmacist willing to take time to explain all known aspects of medications prescribed. Only pharmacy I know of who offers free blister pill packs upon request. The staff is curtious and helpful. I know the first two points don't seem important, but for older people like me they are very important. The picture below is for illustrative purposes only.
