The "Receiving" team, at this Plant, is very professional, and straight forward. It's FCFS and they work quickly. The "Shipping" team, is horrendous, unprofessional, and have zero organizational skills. They schedule Pickups as "Windows" of time, because they're incapable of maintaining any type of schedule. If your Broker tells you that you have an exact Pickup Time Appointment? He lied to you, and you need to plan accordingly. Always call in, with your Pickup Number and check on your load availability, before wasting your time and going there. Even if the Security Officer tells you, on the phone, that your load is ready, you need to plan on AT LEAST 2 to 5 hours, at the Facility. Even after you are finally assigned a Dock, plan on AT LEAST 2 hours. It takes them approx. 25 minutes to load your Trailer; but it will be at LEAST an hour, after you've bumped the Dock, before they start; and it'll be at LEAST 45 minutes, after they've loaded you, before the paperwork is ready. The Shipping Team goes to breaks and lunch early...and they stay on break late. The Pickup Window will ALWAYS be a time span that starts in One Shift and Ends in the Next Shift, and the first shift, in that window, will NEVER prepare your Load, but will push it to the next shift. I unload here weekly, and I load here, after my unload. My Record, for being on the Facility and waiting, is 8 hours; and that was after I called them, and they told me to come in, because my Load was ready. I'm used to it; and I get better Rates for their Outgoing Loads, than other area Shippers, and that's the ONLY reason I keep coming back. The Entire Shipping Department needs an overhaul.... and that's not...
Read moreHorrible, horrible company. Had a 1300 appointment but got here at 1000 because the broker told me they can load me early (and we all know brokers never lie, right?). Was told by security that my load won’t be ready before 1600 and to go to a truckstop and wait. Was advised to call in at 1400 to check if the load might be ready earlier. Called, was told they can’t reach the shipping dept (what?) and to call back in 15 minutes. I did that and was once again told they can’t reach the shipping dept. Was promised to be called back. Was never called back.
It’s now 1600 and I went back to the place to ask in person. Now they tell me it might be 1800, or maybe even tomorrow.
This has got to be some kind of joke, but I couldn’t find any hidden cameras. My 14 are ticking away and nobody cares. And why should they, it’s not their money that goes down the drain.
Avoid this place at all cost. If you are a company driver make sure you will get detention pay before you come here. If you are an O/O add at least 25% to your rate or even better yet, don’t haul their loads at all. It’ll save you a...
Read moreNight security is a jerk. I'd arrived at 3:30am for an 11am appointment. He walks to my truck yelling at me telling me I can't stay. Fair enough, it's what your boss told you. No issues there. He screams "go to the truck stop not here" I told him if I go to the truck stop it'll be 1:30pm before I can come back as a courtesy. He said "leave the property or I'm calling the cops to make you move" I told him it didn't have to go that far and he said "then leave. " I asked for his name so I could tell my superiors who told me to leave and he refused to give it. He's the guard on duty at 3:30am 11/9/25. I remained professional because, well I AM a professional. I will simply refuse any loads going to this facility due to rude treatment by a security officer appointed to represent this facility. It's a right way to say anything and this was not it. Security knows he's a jerk which is why he didn't give his name. If you can't do your job well, then you...
