Burger Theory — Restaurant in Salina

Personally eaten here many times. My wife had only had to go orders. This evening I suggested we enjoy Burger Theory. Enjoy? We did not! Our food took over half an hour to come out. My fries were cold. My burger was chilly. Her chicken strips were burnt.

To make it worse the manager delivered the chicken to my wife and never spoke to us. Our waitress made it right, comped the chicken and gave discount on remainder of the meal. But hold on! It gets worse!! How? My wife left a review and they removed it. I understand nobody wants bad reviews. Yet honesty goes a long way in business. And clearly they are not honest. And provide poor service from top to bottom. The waitress did apologize a bunch. When it wasn't her job since the manager delivered the burnt food. And then clearly he or someone above him removed her Facebook check in and review. We...

We come to Salina a minimum of twice a year to see family. Two years ago, I would have given five stars for service, food and price.

Tonight, a full hour before the posted hours, my husband and I came in for a drink before we went up to our room for the night. We were told they were getting ready to close and could get one drink. I asked for a wine list and was told they didn't have one. She helped several other customers before coming back to us. We got one beer, each and felt a chilly enough reception we left. She said not one word after we paid for our drinks. Not. A. Word.

This morning the waitress seemed to be more concerned about what was on her phone than the people in the restaurant.

If this is how the brand is going to be, we won't bother coming back and our relatives who take up several rooms at the same time will go with us.

I always try to give the benefit of doubt to staff and understand it is a demanding job. However, my family had the worst service I have ever experienced. No one came to seat us and so we sat at the bar. It took the bartender forever to take our drinks and food order. We got our drinks and was never offered water. We ordered an appetizer, salad and a burger. Took a long time for the bartender to check on our food and he brought out the appetizer and salad. He never checked on the burger again or us. I had to ask for silverware. I finally had to ask another waitress to check on the burger and it came out cold and soggy. I complained and the manager was very nice and apologized and comped our meal, but the bartender threw our card at us when he was told and was extremely rude.
