whoever was the counselor of the bishop on 05/12/24 at around 1pm-2:30pm is extremely racist and islamophobic. i came in to request my name to be taken off the church records, i had no problem sharing my story as to why and sharing which religion i made a switch to. the moment this man found out that i am Arab and am now Muslim, he took it upon himself to say the most hateful words i’ve ever been told. he decided it was okay to say “i hope you understand the consequences that will come your way for being Muslim.” and then later on said “the problem with you Muslims and Arabs is, you think you own everything, you think everything in this world belongs to you.” i’m sorry but i thought Bishops and higher ups in the church had the “gift of discernment” when it came to choosing people to be in this kind of role. clearly no one in this decision had the gift of discernment because they elected someone who is so full of hate and racism and decided to turn me into wanting my records removed, into something political. this further proves why this religion is false...

This is the Salt Lake Riverside stake center building. Currently, three wards meet here. Wards are congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Church members attend weekly Sacrament meetings or worship services. They also attend gospel study classes on Sundays. In these meetings we worship God, the Eternal Father and Jesus Christ. We also learn about them, their plan for us and what they expect of us.

The building houses administrative offices for lay leaders of each ward and the stake. A stake is an ecclesiastical unit consisting of multiple wards or branches. The Riverside stake currently consists of 6 wards and 1 branch.

Wonderful peaceful environment to commune in. The church allowed us to have a close relatives funeral there in which we are all very very grateful!
