AMAZING!! Bryce is truly amazing. My daughter was taking Spanish 3 in her sophomore year of high school & this is where it started getting hard. She wasn't practicing as much as the instructor recommended & her grade was slipping with every test & quiz. I found a tutor on the internet & we traveled after school 2 days a week to meet him. However, the grade didn't improve & the traffic I had to suffer through didn't make matters any better. Then I tried a former teacher that was VERY expensive, met at Starbucks & once again, I'm driving to meet & the grade didn't improve. Then I found Bryce. I found him on the internet by looking for Spanish tutors near me. What a difference! He skyped with my daughter, which meant no driving in traffic. I wasn't sure it would work, but it couldn't have worked any better. Bryce talked to me initially & set my expectations on how much time it would take to see improvement. He was right & within 2 weeks the grades started to improve. He was so easy to work with, he had a way of teaching & correcting without making her feel bad & he is very patient. Most importantly, he knew what to teach without any help from the instructor. I went to the instructor at Eastlake High for help & received absolutely no help. We went from what I thought was a lost cause to my daughter feeling success in Spanish...

I love my tutoring sessions with Bryce! I’d been limping along trying to learn Spanish (duolingo, pimsleur, rosetta stone, 2 semesters of continuing education classes), but despite being in Los Angeles where 49% of the population is Hispanic, I wasn’t making progress. Somehow I saw an ad and found Bryce. What luck! I teach for a living, so am pretty hard to please. Somehow despite my limited vocabulary (700 words and growing), Bryce manages to create interesting conversations, which he both forces and gently corrects. My daughter was having trouble in Spanish 2 at high school. None of us speak Spanish at home, so, we couldn't help her. She started taking one-one tutoring classes online with Bryce and things got much better. Bryce was able to fill in the concepts that she was missing, give her practice with speaking, correct her mistakes so she could learn. He was very patient and kind, which is what she needed to not be stressed about Spanish, and to focus on the learning. I only wish we had started lessons with him...
