UPDATE I spoke to tyler (the owner) in regards to a full refund or a partial refund with the part delivered. This was on 2/19. Tyler stated that the mecahnic would be available the next day to deliver the part and obtain a partial refund. I waited for the mechanic at the designated area but once again he was a no show. I have filed a claim with the my bank as i beleive this place is a scam. I woild say dont pay them anything until you get the service done as i did give them ample time to get the veichle serviced and and the "mechanic" was a no show. You cant tell you customers that they didnt give you time when they gave enough time from what you all advised the car would be serviced. By the way Andre is very unprofessional he advised if we didnt take this review down he would not provide a refund.
0 out of 10 would not recommend. I wish I could say this place provided great services but they have been a nightmare to work with. Our car was broken into on 2/11. They tried stealing the whole vehicle so they damaged the ignition. We placed a call to see if they could come out to replace the key ignition on 2/13 we spoke to an agent of this company and they directed us to someone named Andre who would be completing the services. Well andre advised that they would have to special order the part for vehicle and we were advised that the part would be there and on 2/16 (since it was special order we had to pay for the services and the vehicles part right then and there). The 16th came with no part yet available. We contacted andre and were advised it would be in by saturday the 17th. Well saturday came and we has to contact andre as we had no word from him. Now its 2/19 we have spoken to the manager at the location and they have promised a full refund but andre was trying to charge us for the part since we chose not to get the services that were promised to held on 2/16. We kept getting mixed stories from the manager and andre. Honestly I'd say look for a different place to get help as this company and their agents are not trustworthy and it feels like they're just trying to scam you out of your money. Im currently waiting for an email to get my refund processed as they apparently have to go through to process one. They also posted the pictures of the vehicles damaged ignition before any repairs were made which is kind of sketch to be honest. How can you post the pictures up without providing any services yet? We were informed of the back order and set a date after the part had arrived but the mechanic failed to show up after the part had already arrived no explanation as to why no one showed up so my partner contacted the owner Tyler. Tyler advised that the mechanics vehicle was not working properly and could not come to service the vehicle. My partner had sent countless messages and placed a numerous amount of calls to Andre with no reaponse. The backorder wasnt the issue it was the communication about the service. We set a time on sunday the 18th to get the vehicle serviced at 1pm, and no one showed up or cared to call about what the issue was as to why it was not getting serviced. The fact that we had to reach out to Tyler to get some answers as to why our assigned mechanic was ghosting us and not responding is...
Read moreWhen you read a review, you wonder if the extremely negative one is worth taking heed to. In this case stay away from this company!
I locked my keys in my car this morning outside my child’s daycare and upon calling the Turbo lock main company number, I was quoted $35 for the arrival fee and $35+ for the service. Sounds fair enough.
The technician Kristin that called me to confirm the address said she could not provide me the cost of the service till she got there. Red flag #1.
Side note: I did contact San Antonio Pop A Lock company first and was told they would not be available for 5-6 hours.
Upon arrival she took a look at the 2014 Ford Fusion I have and automically said it would be $165!
With that shock of a price, I asked for a breakdown of the $165 charge and she could not provide me a verbal breakdown, nor a itemized reciept after paying on her square app. Red flag # 2. The square reciept shows up only as a custom charge. When I asked if the main company number could provide me a breakdown of the charge, she said no and that it would go back to her to answer. Red flag #3
I did contact the Turbo lock company main number after the service to inquire why I was charged so much when the initial quote was estimated to be $70. They could not provide me a breakdown as well and said they would call me back.
Please avoid the kind of morning I had being scammed and go with a different...
Read moreI got locked out of my car so I called around and called Turbo Lock and Key because they had 4.9 stars. Later I found out that they are also Immediate Response which has a lot of 1 star reviews for being over priced. I was quoted $29 to drive out to me and the services start at $25 depending on the difficulty. I expected to pay about $100 because I've been locked out of my car before and it didn't take long. I was very surprised to hear it was $175 because "it's a difficult car to get into" I have one of the most stolen cars in America but it's difficult for a locksmith...... I didn't want to pay $30 just for her to drive out there. That's why they charge a trip fee and don't give a price over the phone. She knew before she saw my car how much she was going to charge me. I just needed to get home to my 4 month old and so I said okay.... It took her longer to tell me the price. From the second she place her step stool to when the door popped open it was maybe 60 seconds. I think I would rather pay to replace a window than be ripped off by a...
