Sam's Furniture — Local services in San Bernardino

I want to start by saying I love my sectional I purchased. It is a quality couch. However, the service is what was lacking. On the scheduled delivery day, only one person came to delivery the two piece sectional. I was asked to assist with getting the first piece off the truck which I felt was not appropriate as I paid for delivery service and should not have to help unload. The man was only able to get the first piece into my living room and then was unable to get in the second piece by himself. He then asked if I could leave the second piece outside my apartment and call my maintenance man to bring it in which I also felt was not appropriate as I did not hire my maintenance man for delivery services. He ended up having to take the second piece back to the store to wait for a second person to help complete the delivery. I shortly after received a call that I would have to wait until the next day for the rest of my sectional to be delivered. There was nothing offered for the inconvenience and this experience did not leave a good impression of customer service. Again, love my sectional but do not see...

I am writing this review in hopes of Sam's furniture store making an approvement with communication and customer service.

I recently purchased items from this store in the amount of $2700 possibly more. When arriving to the store the owners wife was very pleasant and helpful as she usually is. We had requested a delivery date well in advance and then made a call to change the date for one day earlier which seemed to be okay. The owner of the store arrived to my home alone delievering furniture. He placed all the itemps in my garage and refused to assemble anything. When I asked him if he could at least put the items in the rooms he ignorned me. I then called the store and spoke with his Wife and she asked to speak with him and he cursed her out and then looked at me and cursed at me. He was very rude and his wife and son will come to assemble furntiure later tonight. I felt completely disresprected and I will never purchase another item from this store. I just bought a house in san Bernardino in march 2015. money was tight. while I am still trying to figure out my new debts. my daughter going on to 3 years old was getting to big for her crib. so I had to do something fast. her crib was one that could be converted into a normal bed as the kid gets older. I just need to attach the bed rails to the head board and the foot board. I was thinking that was cool a crib to a twin perfect for my little girl. but it turns out that the I needed a full mattress and box spring. so with a budget of twin mattress I had to get a full with box spring. so I scanned in the pennysaver when pennysaver was still being mail out. I came across an advert for Sam's furniture.
