Minnesota Twins Spring Training Game

I recently attended a Minnesota Twins spring training game, and overall, it was a great experience. The game itself was enjoyable, with solid action on the field, and the stadium was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, making it an easy and pleasant visit.

One notable change this year is that the stadium has completely switched to a cashless system—credit or debit card only. While this might be convenient for some, it felt a bit forced for those who prefer using cash. I also couldn’t help but wonder how many kids are going to end up losing their parents’ credit cards now that cash isn’t an option. It just seems like an unnecessary hassle.

Another thing that stood out was the tipping process at concession stands. When you swipe your card for a $9 lemonade (yes, pricey as expected), you’re immediately prompted to add a tip. The awkward part is that the staff member stands there waiting while you make your choice, which can make you feel pressured to tip for a simple transaction. Tipping is great when it’s warranted, but this setup just didn’t feel right.

All in all, it was a good game-day experience, but the cashless policy and uncomfortable tipping process took away from the...

Had an awesome visit. Park was beautiful and very accommodating for the fans. Food variety was outstanding and delicious. Restrooms were adequate and the park was very very clean. Every person that we had interaction with was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. A couple suggestions however would be the scoreboard in centerfield. Way too small of display. We are old as were 80% of the fans in attendance. We could not read most of what was displayed on the scoreboard. There also was no pitch count for either team. Speaking for us and the fans around us the scoreboard was a total non factor for watching the game. Since this is spring training we didn’t know the names of our pitchers and a lot of our position players. I never realized how important the scoreboard was until I didn’t have it. You have a beautiful park and we had a...

This stadium holds a multitude of events. The first time I had the pleasure to experience it was on Easter for their free Easter egg hunt. It was more of a field frenzy as the eggs were scattered across the field but the kids loved it and we got to enjoy a baseball ball game after. My second time to the stadium was for the National Day of Prayer with guest speaker Dr. Ben Carson. It was amazing as 2500 people showed. Lee county holds many free events to support and lift up the community and I’m grateful for this venue. They have multiple food counters across the stadium which helps with long lines. Alcohol is sold responsibly and a variety of drinks are also available. The food options are great and they even have a local BBQ food counter. There is something...
