Who cares about traffic on the 5 when you're sipping on champagne and getting ready for a great night out?
Our chauffeur, James, took us on a fun tour last week showcasing the diversity of the San Diego micro-brew scene.
We laughed, ate and sampled the beer flights at two of San Diego's famous breweries... all with great revelry.
First, some beer notes from The Mission Brewery downtown.
El conquistador - sweet honey mixing with an apply spice overtone.
Mission amber - Flatter than the Conquistador with a smoky boldness.
The Russian Imperial stout - I liked this one a lot. Strong stuff but clearer than most.
Raspberry wheat - Not quite my taste. I stay away from fruit in my beer and it was just a little bit too foamy.
Dunkelweizen - Are these the German words for Drunk and Hefeweizen? This one seems to fit the part.
Then on to the Coronado Brewery.
The Barley wine - "Strong as hell. But, it's a barley wine." I hope you love the Irish.
Oldie - Had a scent of black licorice. One for sharing with your Grampa'.
17th - An amber that was pretty strong, a little soapy and reminded me of the warm burning of rum.
Berry - Not one of my favorites. Kind of reminded me of a Snapple beer.
Barley - A whole heartedly warm dark beer. A strong one with a slow fire that grows on ya.
Lime - "It's not like putting a lime in a corona." It's more like a Heffy with a citrus undertone.
Bitter - Lighter, refreshing. "The IPA of bitters" and a good one to finish on.
All in our 3 hour Aal in limo tour.
Laughing in the back seat on our way back I had to thank my new friends for putting this together.
What a great thing to do in the middle of the week. At $30 each for the limo it's not going to break the bank, AND you get to roll up in style.
This is how you can surprise your friends to a mid-week party for no reason whatsoever besides the love of good beer and good times.
I'll definitely...
Read moreAall in Limo & Party Bus overall is a great company! From the very beginning of researching limo companies, this was had the best communication and lead time. Mike was amazing to deal with! Not only was he able via text message, he was able to answer all my questions when I had them. I had to set up a bachelorette party and even thought it was busy season for Prom, Mike went above and beyond to make sure my group was accommodated. Our party bus ride from hotel to the many other stops was enjoyable the whole time. The girls had champagne and water at arms reach! The stripper pole was an additional bonus! Mike was nice enough to be so patient with all of us as of course we were having a great time! Aall in Limo will definitely be a company I will contact again for another big or small trip out to San Diego! They were on time and easy to work with. That is what makes this company stand out - their customer service skills were on point! Not only did it help, all the girls at the end wanted to take a pic with Mike since we felt so taken care of! Thanks again...
