The best most honest, jeweler! While Shauna was taking her holiday break my long time boyfriend surprised me with a diamond engagement ring, he purchased at Costco because he saw it and loved it. I was anxious to get it sized, but it needed 2 1/2 sizes down. I stopped in 3 other jewelers who said they couldn't size the ring that much. They offered to make a similiar ring in white gold for the same price, I should just take the ring back. The problem, I loved the ring. Thankfully, since I had stopped in San Carlos Jewelers many times, I decided to wait. Shauna just shook her head, said the other Jewelers must not have the right equipment and said I could have my ring in about a week. The other jewelers were willing tell me it couldn't be done, so they could sell me a ring!!! Needless to say I now have the same ring, it fits perfectly, and I love it!! ...

She offered me different options and provided useful information. I came back later the same day with two watches that needed batteries and she replaced one on the spot and sent my other watch out for a needed watchmaker repair diagnosis and estimate. She got back to me quickly with the estimate and the watch was ready within a week. When I returned to pick it up it looked great and worked even better! My platinum ring guard band had cracked so I found San Carlos Jewelers online and brought it in for a repair. Shauna the owner discovered that it was actually cracked in two places and recommended that it be soldered in both places and that the band be rounded out as well.

My ring guard came back looking as good as new in just under two weeks on the day it was promised, and Shauna even gave me a call to say it had arrived. When I put it on, Shauna noticed that my actual solitaire didn't sit right within the ring guard due to one of its prongs being damaged. She fixed it right there and then for me instead of having to send the solitaire out for repair as well, which I appreciated so much!
