Healing Thai Massage — Local services in San Jose

First time getting a thai massage and it did not disappoint. I was able to book a couple's massage on their website under schedulecity and was nervous at first because I didn't know if I could book on two apps on one account but it did.

It's an office building behind Safeway and I suggest going about 10 mins early just because you have some forms to fill out before your massage. The form consists of your info, two diagrams, what kind of massage, for how long, and the level of intensity. Before going to the back, you're asked to remove your outside shoes and to use their slippers to go to the back.

You get in a well cleaned room and are asked to disrobe but they have baskets to keep all of your items together. I originally booked a Thai massage but was asked if we wanted any oils just because a regular Thai massage doesn't have oil. So we ended but getting a Thai aroma massage. I thought it was great to be able to speak with your masseuse about what kind of massage you're about to get.

I was looking for a really an in depth massage and my goodness was this it. Pammy knew exactly where all my knots were amd was able to work on each one. Even the knots that I didn't know I had. There were times when it hurt a bit but it was because I had really tight muscles. I got the medium type massage and throughout the mssage she kept asking of it was okay for me. Communication between the client and masseuse was great!!

My first experience was not what I expected but I would give my honest opinion, I called in an explained that I had sciatic pain in my leg and lower back, the staff on the phone was very polite and helpful, he assisted in getting me a appointment at the chawee location, when I arrived the staff was polite, the lobby and rooms were clean and comfortable, abit small but ok. I was asked what intensity of massage I wanted, I was not aware but I choose medium. The massage therapist started an I was surprise to have her walk on my back, shoulder and thighs, I never had a Thai massage so did not know what to expect. This was abit uncomfortable but bearable. The massage then continued with mostly her using her elbows and arm, it was mostly painfully, I had to tell her couple times be gentle but not sure if she understood. She knew I was in pain an discomfort but when she finally got to the particular areas of my lower back and hamstring time expired. Over all as I said it was not the massage I expected, abit rough and painfully, I felt sore after. I know to others this might be perfect but to me it was not, I am really a big softy teddy bear. The receptionist did ask me how was the massage I told her the therapist was abit too strong for me, I left...

Best Thai massage I have had in a long time. I have been to a lot of different massage parlors and the prior reviews is what brought me here. It is a Thai massage so they stretch you and walk on your back if you request and you can get aroma therapy too. I cant wait to go back.
